They are asking for more evidence of meeting. She still needs to include his birth certificate though ... I know that ... is that what they could be calling a "foreign document?" Thanks for your response.

Is she afraid to post her own question?

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I would think that USCIS would tell you what "foreign" document they're looking for.

Why don't you post the contents (minus personal info) of the RFE in this forum so we can be of more assistance. Guessing just leads to more mis-information. We try to provide answers, not guesses.

Thank you so much Joey ... It must be the birth certificate then ... because I asked the same information and this is the response I got ...

The rfe says it needs "A foreign Document --any document containing a language other than english must be submitted with a full english language translation."

"Last meeting--summit evidence with in the two period of preceding the the filing of the petition. primary evidence inc tickets stubs, receipts, copies of passport pages etc, letter from a commanding officer" -- what does this mean I called INS and they were not helpful at all-- last but not least birthcertificate of my beneficiary and english translation for beneficairy

As far as posting her own question ... she doesn't have frequent computer access, only at work where she shouldn't be on anyhow. Therefore her time on here is limited so I am trying to help her out is all. I really don't think she would be "scared" to post a question. ;) She just doesn't have the time or access.

Sounds like in the Orginal submission, a document was submitted that was NOT in English. Any docs sumbitted that are NOT in English must be translated into English.

The evidence of "Last Meeting" indicates that they want more proof that the 2 actually met in person in the past 2 years.

No, you don't need to include the Beneficaries Birth Certificate in the I-129F package, only the Petitioner. You'll need your Birth Certificate for your interview.
