Why is NVC taking so long?

USCIS sent out an amended I-130 approval with a corrected priority date, but NVC has not updated my priority date yet? I have called and e-mailed the NVC already, but it still hasn't been changed. How long will it take for NVC to update their system? The amended approval was mailed out to me on the 27th of october and since then I have e-mailed NVC twice already.

One more thing, how come when i check my USCIS status on the uscis website, it says acceptance now since the amended approval was mailed? Before it had said post decision activity.

depends of your pd in the visa bulletin when ur pd will be current then nvc will start process your case

My Pd is Aug 2010 , but I am only concerned with the fact that NVC has not updated it's system with my amended PD. USCIS sent out an I-130 approval with the wrong PD for aug 2011, but then I received an amended I-130 approval with the corrected PD. This change has not been made at the NVC though and I have contacted them. It's been 20 days since the amended I-130 was mailed out by the UScIS.
