Hello All!

Just a quick question for clarification... Is it necessary to submit ALL pages of the phone records when sending our fiance?

Just wondering cos I know sometimes there can be many "Extra" pages in the phone bill so I wasn't sure if it was ok to JUST submit those calls highlighted on ONLY the pages that apply to the International calls opposed submitting every page of each months phone bills.

Thanks in advance!

No you don't. Just send couple from the beginning, middle, and current time frames. Just showing you have been in contact thru out.

I hate to admit it to this board, but.... I did not include any phone records at all, this, my second time for applying for fiance(e) visa. The relationship was 2 1/2 years in age. My phone company only makes available the last 2 or 3 months records. IF YOU ARE BEING OBJECTIVE... that really proves nothing. Phone records for the entire 2 1/2 years... yeah, that would be evidentuary.

I may get called out, on this, for an RFE, but... I think the rest of my preponderance of Proof of Relationship was more than substantial.

We'll see.

I think I added a note in with my application, to this affect, of why I did not include the phone records.

This is really based on the country. Nigeria needs butt loads of phone logs and proof. It is one of the hardest places to be approved in without a truck load of evidence.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

So with that being said, I pose the same question? Is not really about the amount/length of time I am referring to cos I have almost a years worth of phone records. But what I am wondering is if it is "Necessary" to send every page that comes in the months phone bill cos some of mine have 12-15 pages.

Thanks

I can only speculate for you but If it were me, I would sent around 3 pages with the majority of the highlighted phone calls being to her/from her on the pages. I didn't go through Nigeria so I don't know if they would rather see a whole book of your calls. From reading some of the interviews it seems sometimes they want to see it all sometimes they don't.

For mine we only sent a few pages from each month with highlighted calls to/from me and him to give them the jist of the fact we had daily phone calls every month.

I wonder about this too....my Tmobile bill has both my number and my daughters number so the bill is very long....I was wondering if omitting the pages from her phone number and log would cause a problem because the pages are numbered......It just seems pointless to send extra pages that have nothing to do with us.....

You don't need to send in the pages of your bill that detail the taxes and all extra fees paid each month, only need to send the pages that show calls to/from your fiance. Highlighting the calls on the page wouldn't be a bad idea.

Hee, I hope you don't really send your "fiance"!

In all seriousness, I agree with az110965's advice. Highlight your number and your fiance's/fiancee's number, too!

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

My point exactly :) Is like if you do submit ALL pages then is MORE paper but if you dont then will the Consulate have a problem that some pages are omitted... You know you can never be sure with Nigeria

The problem I was having with my cellphone record is that when ever my fiance calls me his number never comes out as NBR Unavailable, it use to show up but since I changed my contract to unlimited in t-mobile it doesnt show up....When the time comes for me to send my fiance prove show I just send it to him like that and have him explain how since it is an international number it doesnt appear on my phone record..

My husband just went through interview on Nov. 9th in Lagos, Nigeria and I used www.pennytalk.com to call him and I could only go back about a year, and did not include all months. I did not know anything about the process, and at the time was not keeping our phone records. If I were you, I would submit all the phone call records you have. Also, all of your e-mails, back and forth. You're presenting your story through thu hae evidence. Organization, was also important. The easier you make their job to go over the documents, the better it is. Some of my phone records also had calls to Argentina, but I just left it on there. I did not highlight anything. They could see what his number was +011234 etc. Also, put your photos in a nice photo album. Again, you're telling your love story and the better the presentation, I think that helps too. A little off track with regards to your question, but hopefully this helps you. He was approved. If you want to see how his experience was, go to consulate review. Best of luck to you.

At the worst consulates, they'll throw this right back in his face. I suggest that you either alter your T-Mobile contract so that it SHOWS ALL NUMBERS or switch to another provider that does. "Now" is not too soon to do so.

Also, put your photos in a nice photo album.
If you do this, make sure that the pages are removable and that they're flexible enough to slide through the slot under the Plexiglass window.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

I have Tmobile Unlimitted plan and most times than not his number shows, only on rare occasions does it come up unavailable, so I would check to see if it is an issue with his phone or his company.

I think it is better to send everything you have but let them be well arranged. I sent all i had last 2 weeks and still awaiting there reply for the interview.

I arranged the phone records, e-mails, facebook messages, skype calls/msgs; separately.

Best of luck !
