Administrative Processing?

Don't get excited, apparently, the person that told us it was processed was on crack, it's still being processed as of this morning. I won't be jumping for joy until I have that visa in hand, forgive me for not trusting them at this point...

Hopefully the getting processed this morning thing really meant it was sitting in the mailroom waiting to go out.

Thanks guys, it's funny, you read on here about people that run into snags, and you see maybe they did something the wrong way, or maybe their name was like someone else's, or maybe they did whatever. But we did everything right, and my name is unique enough that you can look me up by my first name on facebook and I'm one of 15. My last name is even more unique. The fact that we double and triple checked everything should mean that there were no problems, but we have had problems from their end every step of the way. They misplaced our first petition. They set aside the second one for much longer than usual to give us NOA1, and now the typo, and then saying it was processed, and then coming back and saying, ooops, sorry, my mistake, it's not processed yet.

I don't get it.

I don't know if I would feel better knowing that I had made a mistake somewhere along the line and that was holding it up, or I'd feel worse. I just know that things can and will go wrong for no apparent reason whatsoever. I really hope that this doesn't happen often to people. I really hope that whoever made the typo will double and triple check the names when putting the finishing touches on it. And I really hope that once they fix this, we have no other delays. I'm worried about POE now, if they stamped my son's passport wrong, then have to correct it... POE might look at it funny...

One thing this process has taught me to keep in abundance is patience... too bad I think I'm running out!

I'll let you guys know when I finally DO get it, email and all... As to tracking timeline for visas? Waaaay past the norm now...lol

Well tell you what. I had nothing but crazy mix ups through out the initial K1 process. From packets being sent to wrong countries to medical mix ups. But TRUST ME, once you get here the administrative end of things gets a lot easier. So, be happy knowing this junk is almost over and AOS and ROC are a lot easier

THANK you!!! Just knowing that there WILL be a positive outcome here is what is making it easier for me, so reminding me of that just makes me smile! There are far too many worries and stresses for me at the moment surrounding this, so smiling helps! Can't wait for tomorrow and hoping to hear some good news!

Unless your me LOL. My k1 was a total muck up and then so was my AOS...i can only hope ROC goes smoother. I really dont wanna get congress involved..again..for like the ohh 4th time? yeahhh...did i mention i really really hate USCIS???

Okay guys, cross your fingers for me please! They told him this morning that the visas were issued. It's still not showing on the CSC site. (anyone know how often it updates?) I need the tracking number to follow up with DHL, cause I stupidly cancelled my phone line too soon, and now they have no way to contact me to let me know it's there. (really hoping an email is pending too)

Good vibes please! I want to see some PROOF!!!

Okay, he called back to see if he could get tracking numbers, and was told they hadn't been issued.

This is crazy! I told him to call back again and talk to a supervisor, how can he keep getting different answers from different people??

Me and my fiance` have been in administrative process for 5 months now. Everytime i email the Embassy in London, I get the same respond. I dont' know what to do in my case too. Only thing you can do is pray to God! I hope things go well for you. God BLess Every1

Just had to pop in tonight to say I got an email from Loomis saying that they picked up our passports from Montreal! Now, it says passports but not visa... should I worry? Or is that what it always says when they send your visa package? (I'm sorry, just really freaked out by what's been happening, I really want to celebrate, but am a little gun shy... is it my visa???)

WOOT!!! Was just worried that I'd get the passports back with no packet to go with them! YAY!!!

I hope everyone else waiting has good luck this week! I get to see my honey, maybe even for Thanksgiving!! Mom said she'd get a turkey if he can make it here that quick!
