My wife has a .22 LR S&W 5 shot semi auto I got her for a $100 from a guy in the bar here. She's got one of the steadiest hands Iv'e seen...I mean smooth like butter. She's a natural.

A head shot with that .22 LR will do damage also. Have you considered a sub-compact in a heavier caliber, they'll fit nicely in a females hands?

Like a 9mm or .45 sub-compact, a lot more punch for the would be 'billy bad ####.'

I think Crusty might have plans on getting himself a RUB wife in the near future. I can hear it now; "I swear officer, she was right behind me when I took off for help...I don't know how they could have gotten her."

We have a Mossburg 500 12 gauge with pistol grips I got years back that we keep near the bedroom door. The .22 LR is for her purse and night stand. I was thinking of getting her a compact S&W 9mm auto. My dad has one he never uses anymore.

I can say this here...and maybe this post can be used for evidence if she ever decides to kill me. But the first time I took her shooting last year she had a weird gleam in her eye...and I mean it wasn't a normal look. It's creeped me out ever since. I'm not so sure getting her a gun was such a good idea.

As much as I like this bill I don't.

When we allow the government to tell us what we're allowed to do the time comes for us to be told ONLY what we're allowed to do. Everything else is considered illegal until the government authorizes us to do it.

That mentality is exactly the opposite of what liberty truly is. We, as a people, are free to do whatever we'd like as long as it doesn't infringe upon someone else's rights. We shouldn't be told we have the specific right of doing this or that, only that we can't do something.

My first fight when I was a 19 year old police officer, was in the back of a police van with a hooker who had just knifed a pakistani client who didn't pay - she fought me on all 6 metal surfaces for 5 miles and I never want to repeat that experience.

My next fight was with a 6 foot 6 West Indian guy and he was easy peasy compared

If a woman threatens you - don't hesitate. Watch all the real murder stories on TV ( planned ones) - most are women.

That pic was taken less than a 1/4 mile from the front door of my wife's work place. The sow in that pic had just killed a young male who went for her cubs the day before, hence the reason her nose is hanging off her by a thread of skin. I had several like her walk through my yard the summer before last.

I agree. It should be up to each state if they want to reciprocate. By the Feds forcing the states to reciprocate could cause states to make laws undoing concealed handguns.

And once it becomes a "federal program" it'll undoubtedly be administered by a federal agency that will, in turn, make the rules for each state. "Oh, you don't have to make the drinking age in your state 21. It's your call. Just hope you don't need our highway money anymore."

My ex wife gave me over a half dozen stitches in the ear when she punched me in bed..no rings or anything on her fingers, just a swift clean punch to the noggin. Even the cop was amazed when I he found out she didn't hit me with anything other than her fist. Chicks are the worst when it comes to going off. Chicks have no qualms about how and who they do in when they lose control.
