Let me make this easy for you...

Give me the name of the state that had an INCREASE in homicides after passing concealed carry legislation, there are 49 states you ought to be able to find ONE.

This is nonsense. Print more if you wish I will no longer respond to it, just as the legslatures of 49 states do not respond to it.

Unless there was an INCREASE in homicides after implementation of concealed carry, we are ahead of the game and any numbers you present are moot points. All they prove is that concealed carry does not prevent ALL crime.

If I made ever made that claim then your statements would be relevent.

That's it, Gary. Keep trying to heard them cats.

Let me clue you in so you have a clue. You can thank the Alaskan Natives for Alaska ranking #14. Alaska made #1 in rape, and #3 in assault on the list. Dads screwing daughters, brothers screwing sisters, and uncles screwing nieces is prevalent in village life for Alaskan Natives. Every time one of them gets busted for doing his daughter, niece, sisters, etc... it's recorded as a rape and assault...it's a twofer.

Now seeing how I was born and raised in Washington State ...you know..the place you live now, I know only too well what the odds of getting robbed and gang banged in Tacoma, Seattle and all parts in between. btw I bet you voted for Gregoire...I hope that works out well for ya.

But Arizona and Alaska outrank California. How can that possibly be?

Gary, it simply does not exist. But the gun grabbers don't care about facts.

I have posted this before, it is NOT merely my opinion based on facts and famtasies I merely WISH were true.

Dangers of Permissive Carrying Concealed Weapons (CCW) Laws

Shall-issue laws permitting the carrying of concealed firearms (CCW) (where law enforcement has no discretion in issuing a permit or license) do not appear to reduce crime, and no credible statistical evidence exists that such permissive CCW laws reduce crime. There is evidence permissive CCW laws generally will increase crime.59

A National Academy of Sciences report reviewing existing data on the effectiveness of firearm laws, including research purporting to demonstrate that concealed carry (also called “right-to-carry”) laws reduce crime, found that the “evidence to date does not adequately indicate either the sign or the magnitude of a causal link between the passage of right-to-carry laws and crime rates.”60

An analysis of Texas’ CCW law, (a law adopted in 1995 that overturned the state’s 125-year ban on concealed weapons), found that between January 1, 1996 and August 31, 2001, Texas license holders were arrested for 5,314 crimes, including murder, rape, kidnapping and theft.61

From 1996 to 2000, Texas CCW holders were arrested for weapons-related crimes at a rate 81% higher than that of the state’s general population age 21 and older.62

Since the Texas law took effect, more than 400 criminals – including rapists and armed robbers – had been issued CCW permits, and thousands of the 215,000 permit holders have been arrested for criminal behavior or found to be mentally unstable.63 The “largest category of problem licensees involve[d] those who committed crimes after getting their state” permits.64

Florida’s CCW system had, just in the first half of 2006, licensed more than 1,400 individuals who had pleaded guilty or no contest to felonies, 216 individuals with outstanding warrants, 128 people with active domestic violence injunctions against them, and six registered sex offenders.65

For additional information about the carrying of concealed weapons, including information on the dangers posed by carrying guns in public, see LCAV’s Report America Caught in the Crossfire: How Concealed Carry Laws Threaten Public Safety and our Carrying Concealed Weapons Policy Summary.

Once again, sorry gun nuts. Reality bites!

I just explained it in that post you quoted. If you had read it then I wouldn't be typing this right now.

Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Prejudice is about as succinct a summation of your posts in this thread as anything I could add. Where did you get your statistics on Alaska Natives infesting Arizona though? And how do you explain getting beaten by Commy California in the 2010 crime rankings?

I'l explain it one more time. Alaskan Natives like to screw their siblings, daughters, nieces..neighbor girls...whoever once they have a drink or two in them...sometimes no booze is needed. That's why Alaska is ranked #1 in rape, and #3 in assault hence the reason Alaska is ranked #14 in total crime vs Californian being ranked #15. It's in two links up above.

Now if we did away with the Alaskan Natives, not only would the Feds save billions of wasted dollars, the crime rate in Alaska would take a total nose dive.

As far as Arizona...no idea, Iv'e never lived there and I don't know the situation there.

Who was here before them? There's proof they came over the land bridge, and there's further proof one pushed out another. Now fact of the matter is they milk the Feds (US tax payers) for billions. Now we could do it the all over again, and move out and then invade again but this time clean house with every one here and then no worries about having a giant native welfare system known as the BIA. They don't pay for medical, they don't pay for dental, they don't pay for optical, they don't pay for schooling...they pay for nothing. It's handed to them on a silver platter thanks to the US tax payer. And I'm not talking nickels and dimes, I'm talking billions of dollars.

Native life style? LOL ? When has a yanmar diesel, a Yamaha outboard, a 300 Weatherby Magnum, and Arctic Cat snow machines considered "subsistence life style"? Let's not forget that when they have a few drinks in them they try to either shoot their spouse..other half...neighbor...whatever when they aren't trying to screw the nearest hole...and age doesn't factor for them. We spend millions trying to teach them don't drink, don't rape everything on two legs, and don't blow your welfare checks on steak and lobster...but a lot of them haven't grasped that yet.

Who cares? They were there before you. I hate new neighbors like that. They move in, make a lot of noise, and within two weeks, want to change everything to way it was in the cesspool they left to come live here.

Exactly...who cares? Why pay for anything for the Alaska Natives? Let them pay their own way for a change. In fact let them go back to what they were doing before we got here. I'm all for that.

Okay. They keep all the oil, and all the gold. Then they will hire the Japanese or the Australians or the Canadians to extract the resources and keep the lights on. Old story, happens all over the world, and only in the US do we call it welfare.

Once again, sorry gun nuts. Reality bites!

As usual, gun wussies and gun wiennies will grasp for any straw they can find from other liberal gun wussies and gun wiennies to make themselves feel better or prove the sky is falling.

Let's assume that "1,400 individuals who had pleaded guilty or no contest to felonies" means after the permits were issued. Because according to FL., law and statue, no way on earth those individuals would have gotten passed the background and issued a permit.

1. Is that reported worded to be misleading?

2. Was it "who had pleaded guilty" or should it have read "who later pleaded guilty?"

3. What else about that liberal report is misleading?

Anyway "just in the first half of 2006" is misleading, because the state doesn't break out the numbers as such. The numbers have been reported in an 11 month increment fashion since July 01, 1998 - June 30, 1999 thru July 01, 2010 - July 30, 2012.

Let's look at those numbers in the big picture if things. According to the state of Florida from July 01, 2005 - June30, 2006.

Licenses revoked = 330

Licenses suspended = 1,108

For a total of 1,438 in that 11 month period. There was no break-out in the state numbers for any first half of 2006.

For the same period in the 67 counties of Florida, the state issued Concealed Weapons or Fireams License Reports .

Initial = 56, 789 (including 9,269 Out of State CCW's issued)

Renewals = 56, 408 (including 2,452 Out Of State renewals)

Total = 113,197 CCW's or Firearms License Reports.

So to a liberal gun wiennie if you have 1,438 knuckle-heads out of 113,197 licenses in the same 11 month period, you have an increase in crime and the sky is falling! Absolutely no mention of the 111, 797 CCW holders with no issues.

Typical gun wiennie liberal, skew the numbers to reflect your sky is falling point of view.

Sorry gun wiennies, your reality sucks!

LOL...so let me know when you move to Europe or wherever your ancestors came from and send me a card. In the mean time the government is going broke and they are already starting to cut back on the goodies given to the natives up here. Not nearly enough, but it's a start. Every year more and more will be cut back until they go back to what they were doing before we got here. Clubbing seals and walruses with a wooden stick from a dug out and/or seal skin kayak. TV, internet, electricity, cell phones, aluminum boats, diesels, plumbing...they can do it themselves. But don't hold your breath on it.

My wife flew to a village a few months back that has a population of less than 200 people. The pseudo village across the bay from that village had a new school built for it a few years ago to the tune of 4.5 million dollars...all on the tax payers dime. Seeing how that village went down to less than 50 people last year the new school is closed. So you have a brand new school sitting there empty. That's one story of many like it.

They pay for nothing, and I mean nothing. They have new houses built for them for peanuts. And it's not like the materials for these houses are loaded up on a truck and the truck takes a drive down I-5. The materials are barged and/or flew in...and not on jets...the runways don't allow for jets. Google a map of Alaska and check it out. For me to fly into Anchorage it cost $500 round trip. For an Alaskan native to fly into Anchorage to see a doctor it cost them $0. For them to stay in a top notch hotel in Anchorage to see the doctor...it cost them $0. What did they do before doctors? They had "Witch Doctors" who used "spells" along with fire and smoke. I'm all for them going back to how it was before we got here with what they used before we got here.

A friend of mine does maintenance on all the BIA/government buildings including schools in the villages within 300+ miles from here. He gets calls to fly out...sometimes with a team to fix plumbing, generators, etc... he works for the native corporation here. That cost thousands every time he flys..and he fly's on an average of twice a week. And I'm not talking LAX. I'm talking planes with ski's to get into these villages of maybe pop. 100 people...sometimes less. They will let human waste over flow from a leaking pipe until he gets there instead of fixing it themselves. Even the old generation natives here say this generation sucks and expects everything handed to them.

Dodge. Typical.

We are to believe that the FBI Uniform Crime Report is wrong, the legislatures of 49 states plus the governors of those states are wrong, NONE have figured this out and repealed concealed carry because only a select few know that concealed carry actually increases crime.

I'm not exactly for or against CCW (I think thats obvious from posts) but one thing I've got to say is that if you want to say CCW causes crime rate reductions there needs to be more studies. The country as a whole has had a large drop in crime rates. Is it Concealed Carry thats causing it? Maybe. I've also read where abortion drops the crime rate, same with an ever growing legal code that grabs a larger and larger percentage of population by creating new ways to arrest people. Perhaps all three are reducing crime.
