No need to imagine. Vermont has the lowest crime rate in the country. Armed people tend to be very polite, I invite you to come and experience it sometime. I warn you...it can be boring.

This is the allacy of all this doom and gloom. There is no need to speculate, no need to imagine, no need to guess. Concealed carry reduces crime everywhere it is implemented

Why? Review Crusty's thread about the "Occupy Vermont" movement. All these armed people and not a single incidence of violence, police car defecation or urination, barely a raised voice, only one incidence of police detaining a woman for crossing a line which was settled when the mayor said "C'mon guys, let her go on her way" They are gone now and cleaned up the park behind themselves, not a trace anyone was there.

There IS NO violence, there is virtually NO CRIME, yet all these people can carry concealed handguns. Go to the worst neighborhood in Burlington and ask people for change for a $100 bill...at 2am...no one will bother you. Try it Oakland or LA, try it in Chicago or DC where good people have no guns.

If the Second amendment applies to concealed weapons, how about exploding vests? Would you feel safe if everybody could wear an exploding vest any place in the US?
