Hi everyone! Been interviewed last October 25 after more than a year of waiting. I thought everything went well but after the interview, the CO told me that she needs 2 more documents before she can sign (nbi with aka and cenomar) with the other spelling because I had this name changed. So though I haven't used that other name I got the requestted docs and passed it last November 14. I had a hard time with my nbi since i was hit and since they had this new biometrics method, so it has to go through 3 weeks or a month but mine was like about a week.

The CO kept everything including my passport.

When should I expect my visa? I really am so anxious on the matter!:(

Please help!

Such will be greatly appreciated

If they keep your passport, its a good sign. Ive had my interview last 19th Oct. because they need a new Cenomar, waited for 3 weeks and got my visa. You'll get yours as long as you complied with the requirements.

Goodluck!

Thank you very much! Wow so glad that you have yours already. The CO even asked me when do we plan to get married and told her that on my birthday then she smiled and have seen a sincere smile telling me Goodluck.:)

Anyway, my Cenomar was forwarded first since I filed at the Nso Pasay and they say that it's been in the embassy so what i put in the letter was the receipt from the nso pasay and the new nbi with aka..was i doing the right thing?

Yes, that was about all you could do, considering the CENOMAR was forwarded.

Good luck!

Your visa should be issued malapit na...in the next few weeks.

You can call the Embassy to find out if your visa has been issued already. After your visa has been issued, you can call 2GO to find out if they have it already. Usually, when 2GO receives your visa, they will text you the day before they deliver it. Good luck. :star:

Keep following up.

After 1 week, I called the the NSO if the CENOMAR has been picked up (usualy every friday) by the US EMB staff with the reference they've provided. Then after few days of confirmation, I emailed US EMB, 3-4 business days reply. In between there was holidays. Once you get email reply, 2-3 business days will be delivered to 2GO. They will then send you text message for pick up/delivery.

I also tried to call USEM, but no to avail... Don't give up though... GOODLUCK!

thanks for being so positive.it really made me feel good. i just want to clarify because my passport was issued like feb 8 and the correction in my birth certificate was made feb 16 but they already issued me the pasport because i have papers to testify that i am waiting for the approval. would that affect the review? i am scared because the CO didnt asked me about such. would that matter? knowing that you seemed to know alot.. thank you so much

i was kinda reviewing my papers awhile ago and scared because i didnt get the chance to explain about my passport. all that the CO is asking was the cenomar with the different spelling and nbi with aka...

please let me know
