Best Time to request an expedite

Greetings,

I sent my I-130 package november 7th via USPS and USCIS received it november 9th. Yesterday ( november 14th ) we received our NOA1 including the case number via email and expecting it to be at my wife's house in 7 to days 10 as predicted by USCIS. Now, we would like to request for an expedite, do we have to wait for the hard copy or we can call them today to request it? Thank you for your usual cooperation guys.

no, but the 'best time' has passed, already.

now yer into the '2nd best time' .

usually, when the NOA-1 arrives, that is 'a time' that the expedite can be requested, but you'll need to call into USCIS, get a Tier 2 ISO Human, inquire for their process.

07/08/11: Mailed I-130 to P.O. Box 804525, Attn. EXPEDITE I-130 SPOUSE, Chicago, IL.

07/18/11: Received Hardcopy Form I-797C or NOA1 in mail, receipt date 7/13/11 and priority date 7/12/11.

08/08/11: Called USCIS 800 number to check on status.

08/23/11: Request for Expedite Approved. Received NOA2 dated 08/23/11.

Did your wife talked to the 2nd tier operator or if she could be transferred to the Expedite Department? Because, usually after the call, the 2nd tier operator/supervisor can decide from that point on whether to submit a request for it and give you a specific reply date. Especially, if you have a written and signed letter to expedite. Good luck and God bless!

We did not submit a letter of request for the expedite, My wife just call them and request it on the phone with them and they gave her a referenbce number her case

The lady that was taking to her was very nice, she was asking her question regarding the I-130 that we filed, like her name, address, if she US citizen or permanent resident, how she gained her citizenship and why she wants an expedite. Guys do u think the operator had our I-130 in front of her for real? Wasn t that a trick to determine if she really the petitioner. At the end of the call, the lady told my wife that she is going to send the request to the relevant department and she will be notified of the decision in 7 days

Hello thank for your assistance, yes I really need your help. My wife is pregnant now and I want to get to the US in 5 months or 6 months. Plz send me a sample of expedite letter. We are requesting it for financial loss. Thank u for ur cooperation
