Hi guys,

Last month I upgraded my petition for my hubby from F2A to IR(send & email them a copy of my certificate of Nat.).

They replied to my email in the following way:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is currently undergoing additional processing. We will send further instructions once this processing is completed.

I'm a bit worried about their reply and also i don't know how i can check to see whether they have upgraded my petition or not.

What do you suggest me to do?

Thanks,

Mitra

Maybe they are checking into the validity of your upgrade? Once they are satisfied then maybe they can move along with it.

Call them speak with a live person and just inquire that they recieved the upgrade.

The NVC automated phone inquiry states that in Oct.10 the petition was finished.

Just call them and find out. Thats the best way... it takes just a few minutes and your questions are answered. You can also ask more questions if the answers require more asking ... and sometimes NVC or USCIS do indeed do AP at those levels.. it doesnt happen often but it can happen. My friend recently was at NVC for a long time for AP.
