If you have paid AOS fee or IV fee, then just take the print out, and take one print from state site about where it mention about any immigration visa require police clearance certificate.

But to get the best and up-to-date answer, I suggest you to contact local US Embassy in Canada, and ask them for further guidance.

In Chennai, India, I applied PCC online, then next day, I visited there, and got the PCC withing 5 hours. They didnt need any letter from embassy or etc. All I said, I need PCC for USA. Done! Overall their process was very smooth.

Hope it helps.

You need to get a police certificate that states that CPIC or National Database has been checked.

You can get it done at the RCMP, local police station or the Commissionaires: http://www.commissionaires.bc.ca/en/services-personal/personal-criminal-record-checks/

The Commissionaires have 2 offices in Surrey so they might work out well for you.

Keep your chin up, you can get through this!

I just took a look at the Surrey RCMP site and if you decide to go there print off the Police Certificate requirements from this site for them: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=9013

They said they'll accept printouts from the web showing what you need. :)

Yeah I used the commissionaires in Vancouver. Super fast, easy, and pleasant to deal with unlike the absolute nightmare I had trying to get a police check from the RCMP.

You do need to have your addresses including postal codes for the last 5 years (a pain in the butt since I moved a lot as a university student).

The RCMP in Kingston NS asked for the same thing--so I went home and printed it off from the USCIS website (what were the visa requirements) and they were happy with that

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
