Where Can I Find a Civil Registrars Office In the Phil?

Just wondering if anyone can share any experiences on finding a valid Civil Registrar in the Philippines. Civil Registrars come into play when you need a parental consent form notarized for a fiance that is 18-21 in the Philippines who wants to leave the country on a K1 visa and has to go through the CFO first

My Fiance is actually 17 and we plan to wait until she is 18... but i am thinking about starting the whole K1 process now and sending in a parental consent form to USCIS here in the states but she might have to get a parental consent form there and send it to me.....which makes me wonder who it needs to be notarized by for the USCIS to recognize it as a valid document.

She will be turning 18 within 6 months which kind of makes it an awkward situation for me to send a petition and while the petition is getting processed and she is likely to turn 18 before the interview.

this is what i only know of. every municipality all over the philippines has a local civil registrar. this is where we get our local civil registrar birth certificate. this is the local copy of the birth certificate. the NSO also has a copy of the birth certificate which is the one needed in the embassy.

anyway, so that you'll fiancee will not travel far to get the parental consent form, maybe she could ask their local civil registrar about it. by the way, this is my first time to hear about that kind of form (parental consent form). i thought a parental consent is a letter from the parents giving their consent, permitting their daughter to get married even on a very young age. i might be wrong about this since i don't have a vast knowledge on the matter.

good luck.

I thought so. NSO Birth Cert and a Letter from parents are the only things needed.

Happy New Year!
