Hi,

me and my US citizen fiancè are filling out the papers for the K1 petition. I'm having some problems with the part of the G-325A form about the occupations. I'm Italian. I've been studying at university during the last 5 years (with an interruption of 2 years) and in the mean time I did some little jobs with different agencies (like a lot of them), often contract jobs or per-diem jobs (hopefully you understand what I mean).

I'm not really sure of how to put all this in the form... can someone give me some tips?

Also, can I visit my fiancè once the petition is submitted? (I would enter the United States with Visa Waiwer Program)

Thanks in advance

B.

Fill up the space in that section leave a space at the bottom and put "Continue on Sheet." Get a sheet of computer paper (better typed) and on the top of the sheet put "G-325A - Biographic Information (For K-1 Visa)" with the name of the person on the G-325A under it.

Then skip a few lines and put "Continued List of Employment" and start listing.

Name of Employer Address Occupation Months worked

Then attach it to the G-325A (don't staple, use paper clip)

Thank you very much. So I must indicate every single job? Even just one day jobs? I'm gonna go crazy... :D

You don't need to list every single job. Just list the ones where you received a W2 from your employer.

I had this same problem, as I freelance. I just added a separate sheet with a notation at the top to indicate which question it was an addendum to, and listed the places I had received 1099s from. I had no problems with this. I also left my signature and date at the bottom of the sheet. Hope that helps.

mmh.. I had something like 1099 (or something like that in Italy) even just for 1day or 2 days jobs.. so I guess I have to list almost all of them! ugh.

Thank you so much for your help!!

Any idea about the eligibility to enter the US once the petition is filed?

You shouldn't have any trouble entering once the petition is filed.

As for the attachment form. Here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/236661-g-325a-questions/page__p__3626180#entry3626180 this is the one I did for residences, you can do similar for the occupation. Make sure you put your A number on it. They file stuff by A number/case number, not name.

ok, I typed down this list of jobs, and it looks better than I thought! My only doubt now is how to fill in a couple gaps: I've been studying at university since 2009 and in the mean time I do some little jobs. I put as first line of the list 'student, from 2009 to present'. Now, the gaps in between the little jobs I did in the meantime, will they be automatically filled in with the fact that I was studying? I dont think 'unemployed' would fit since i wasn't unemployed, I was a student...

i haven't a A number  what is it?

An A number is an alien number given on a green card. If you have never had one this does not apply to you.

ok thanks!

I still didn't figure out how to fill those gaps.. i don't know if to just repeat the fist line 'student from 2010 to present' or if it's automatical that during that gap between jobs I was studying, since I aready said it in the first line...?

I have a lot of overlapping because I did various things at once (studying, a couple little jobs at same time), hence some entries would be like:

university - student - from 2010

I have a lot of overlapping because I did various things at once (studying, a couple little jobs at same time), hence some entries would be like:

-Company name - occupation - from 12/2010 - to 09/11 (covering almost a year)

and then in the middle of the list:

-Company name - occupation - from 5/2011 - to 6/2011

-GAP (in which i was studying and doing the job I previously listed, that covered almost 1 year

-Company name - occ. - from 3/2011 - to etc..

do I have to repeat in the gap the longer lasting job? it's a long list, I'm so afraid it's going to be very caotic!! :(

I want to send this form to my fiancè as soon as possibile because he's putting all the petition together, but this part is really keeping me stuck sgrunt. help!!

ps: ops double post (fist one's a mistake!) sorry

I do not see a need to fill in all your gaps with repeated information...nor really should you list jobs that lasted only a day. Do not stress over too much that you have gaps, especially as a student, just fill in what you can.

It is your petitioner that will be more scrutinized for the ability to keep you from becoming a public charge than you at this point.

thank you..

well I got certification (like 1099s or whatever you call it) for all the jobs, even just one or two days jobs, so I'm pretty confused on what to list or not :(
