I'm also wondering about Florida. I checked the DMV website and there was no mention of having to take any tests. It just talks about what identification to bring with you. I'm under the assumption no test will be required. yay

Hopefully this is the case and it really is as easy as just switching my license over. If not, I'll be back with some words of warning about the DMV.

There is a very large possibility that one would have to take the driving test over, but there is a smaller chance of that happening to a Canadian driver.

Here in PA, I will not have to take the full examination as long as my drivers license is not a permit and it is not close to the expiration date.

Hey there, I am moving to PA from Canada  and was wondering if I have to take the driving test or any test, or do they just convert my Canadian licence to PA diving licence ? I appreciate your answer
