Thank you, Alan. I feel my first VJ name change in nearly five years coming on now.

Don't do it chuck - it wouldn't be as good

I get a secret laugh knowing that nobody can translate Ashud Cocoa

In Yorkshire they would hear "I should cocoa" which is Cockney rhyming slang for " I should think so !"

There, I have given my secret away

I knew it was a supergrass album, but didn't know there was meaning beyond that. Alan didn't strike me as a supergrass fan, but stranger things happen.

Well, I knew it.

Well we know you are double jointed and multi culturalized and ambidextrous and infinitely faceted but I didn't think you would latch on to that

..and now you have dropped your name and adopted an alias

It sounds very Southern so make sure you don't post any y'alls and no stars and bars flags on your profile

Keep it above the waist and above the Mason-Dixon line !

Honey Crumpet is launched with a splash ! may god protect her and all who sail in her !

She is as unsinkable as the titanic (made in britain)

xx

Deeply ethnic reference that I felt safe with - but I had to tell

I hoped to attract a white supremacist who thought I was from the cote d'ivoire, but no such luck - so far

Mm, crumpets.

It's a curious fact that nobody eats muffins in England and they are hard to find. I bet it's hard to find French toast in France.

Crumpets are more common but of course it is interchangeable with 'totty' so caution is advised

When totty is on the menu for tiffin, then an 'afternoon encounter' is on the cards

Muffins (of either variety) are not hard to find in England these days, but why eat a muffin when you can have a crumpet?

I like tiffin, but prefer it if it is of the Scottish variety. Mm! I had that and elderflower presse in every cafe I visited in England this summer.

And google has just informed me that elderflower presse is available on amazon.com, ah, I love the internet.

Fortunately (unfortunately?) I've never had a chance to confuse crumpet of the edible variety with the totty variety.

Elderberries ! ok for blackbirds (birds that are black)...er...feathered birds that are black

Rose hips too - rose hip syrup

A few years ago I told my daughter I was going to get a black bird in spring (latest honda motorbike)

She said " Oh, that will be a change, you usually go out with white girls". True story ! She is blond.

Thank you. I'm afraid that I do say "y'all" occasionally, now that I'm in a relationship with a Southerner. It's rather infectious.

Indeed, I may have been converted to Southernisms, even though my politics and religion remain intact.

...and no frying squirrels and stomping cockroaches or using grits to seal the rain gutters.

There are no unreligious people south of the mason-dixon so you need up your gaard fearin' game lil lady.

If you say he is from Texas I am going to bribe Charles to change your handle back... and if it's Bull Connor's son you are in for some serious pixels.

Honey Crumpet. It's a good job he ain't from these parts or you would be 'Idaho Potato'

If it's one of Martin Luther's unacknowledged sonnies then you are excused....

Shame ! You should have taken the bribe first and told me that after. That is free enterprise and energetic entrepreneurship so embrace it ! The French don't even have a word for our home grown word 'entrepreneur' so lets make the most of it..

I reckon I have converted a few swayers you know... probably not 180 degrees (or 75 degrees as Herman Cain might say), but swayed em a bit more towards the center and away from 'grind a granny down' and 'stomp a homeless person'.

Geographically, moved em from Mississippi to Tennessee.... on the road towards Massivechewsets where they make dentures
