When I am in the US on a K1 visa and waiting for my employment authorization, is it possible for me to continue my work-from-home freelance work that I do for a foreign employer in the country I moved from?

Yes.

You need to be paid in your former country, by direct deposit for example. Such would be no different than someone on vacation in the US continuing to stay in contact by internet with their employer in their home country. You are not "working in the USA" in this case.

Once the money is deposited there, you can withdraw it here by ATM.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear, haha! But wouldn't I still need to be a "resident" in my home country for that? And can I still be a resident there if I am in the middle of becoming a permanent resident of the US?
