How should the package be assembled?

Hi there!

We have found this board so helpful throughout the whole process.

Time is coming around to send out the i-751.

We wanted to know how the package should be put together? Especially the evidence portion with all the bills, statements etc. Should they be stapled together? Should everything be hole-punched and be put in folder? It's been a while since we filed the AOS so we don't really remember how we did it anymore Also, this one might have different requirements so we're just checking.

Something else....I know you're supposed to file within the 90 days prior to your 2nd GC anniversary. We still have 2 months left but out of curiosity, which date are they looking at? Date it was sent at the post office, the date it was received by them or the date it was processed by the service center?

I just sent mine off and got the NOA... While it doesn't matter how you assemble it, I read it should be easy to dismantle so didn't use staples. For each section (bills, other, financial etc.) we used a small clip, then a big clip to hold all the sections together.

My 90 days fell on a weekend so sent it on the Monday & it was received 2 days into the window. Not sure about sending it to arrive in day 1... But can't see why not if you're eager
