Hi all. My wife and i filed our i-130 petition in August this year and received our NOA 1 on August 24th. We have since heard nothing at all and we have noticed that a lot of people on here seem to receive their NOA 2 around 10 - 20 days after NOA 1.

Is this something we should contact them about or is this normal?

I think you read wrong :) within 10-20 days you should receive your NOA1 after you sent the petition and CSC received it.

The approximate wait for your NOA2 on the USCIS website is 5 months. Accoring to VJ Processing Timeline they are approving August 19, 2011; so hopefully you will get your NOA2 soon.

and oh, i received my NOA 1 on October 7, so it's been a month now. my hubby said we should be waiting for about 5 months :blink:

- May 31, 2012, AOS package SENT
- June 14, 2012, Package IV SENT
- June 26, 2012, CASE COMPLETED! 1 month, 1 week and 4 days since NVC received
- August 2, 2012, Interview, PASSED smile.png

- October 18, 2014: arrived in the US :)
