Filling out the DS-230 part one to send into the embassy.

It asks for his father's address, he doesn't know it. Nor is he in contact with his father, and hasn't been since he was young.

All he has is a half-sister, and she may not know where he lives either. If Shaun puts down "Unknown" for his father's address, will that affect the visa or interview?

you can only provide the information that you know and if you dont know the address then put unknown... it will be ok

AOS approved 3/29/13 after almost 10 months of waiting. No RFE's and no interview.
