after submitting Ds-230 & civil docs. to the NVC how many days or weeks before they email my interview date??..excited much:)

It usually takes about a week or two after submitting all documents to get a case complete. That's the first step you should be looking towards. After that, then time varies on getting an interview date. It could be a couple of days, it could be a couple of weeks. It will always depend on how many people are in front of you in the interview queue and how busy your embassy/consulate is.

Right now, just continue to call NVC and asking if there's any update on your case. Once you have your case complete, then continue to call but this time asking if an interview date has been scheduled.

mine took 3 days to close the case. Keep calling they would not tell you.
