Technically yes, but thd wait for an "immediate" decision is now taking 8-11+ weeks. However, if not immediately approvable cases are still beung referred to the longer process. Some say that with the new lockbox filing system coming up shortly that CDJ will no longer have this system. Sort of levels the playing field for everyone filing elsewhere which I completely support bc they have no such system.

Sorry it took so long, worked today. M & M's fees are on a sliding scale depending on how difficult/how much time is invested in research and putting it together..Still they were quicker to process the waiver and less expensive than the other lawyer mentioned in this thread. The choice is ultimately yours. Best of luck!

We paid our lawyer $5000 for the preparation of our waiver which I think is fairly average.

WOW REALLY??? WE PAID OUR LAWYER 3500 AND HE HAS DONE EVERYTHING SINCE THE I-130 - THE WAIVER!!!

I don't think that is high if you consider what we were up against. The I130 wasn't included bc I filed for that in 2003 and it toOk 2.5 yrs to be approved bc of a namecheck. Considering it was almost 7yrs of immigration battles between the I130 filing and him getting his green card, I was willing to psy anything. She did s good job at an okay price. Most lawyers, from what I've seen, charge between $5k-8k for this and it usually includes the I130. Our case was different bc my husband was filing for asylum sunce early 2000.
