Okay..So NVC received my I864 EZ and supporting documents on Monday (11/7) via Express Mail and my husbands DS230 with supporting documents on Wednesday (11/9) via Federal Express. I checked the AVR through Thursday (11/10) at 10:00 p.m. to see if they acknowledged receipt of any of the documents and the AVR message just said that they generated the IV docs for my husband on 11/8. I went to bed. Not sure why I even checked the AVR today (11/11) as I know it is a federal holiday and I know they are closed, but I did check it.. and to my surprise.. the message states ..we have reviewed your documents and found missing/incomplete information.. we mailed you a letter on 11/10..... It does not say for which package of docs this message is for... although my husband docs were received 11/9 and i cant imagine they were reviewed on 11/10...but then again... my docs were received on 11/7 and I am pretty shocked anything i sent has been reviewed so quickly. So any thoughts on which package... and for what? or even that NVC looked at them so quickly (this should probably be encouraging news for all of us in this stage)..I have reviewed my package over and over.. I included the bar coded sheet, my invoice showing paid for fees, my cover letter, for I864 EZ, my federal tax transcripts (Copies) for the years 2010, 2009 and 2008, six months of pay stubs (okay 3 were missing over the six month period and I stated that.. but my year to date income shows I was paid each pay period and I did point out that I knew there were 3 missing in my letter) and a letter from my employer as to my position, time of employment and salary which I believe is quite over the 125% of poverty level for my family size.... did I miss something? As for my husband docs i am the agent.. I sent the bar coded sheet, IV invoice showing paid, form DS 230, his 2 photos, his birth certificate with translation, his 2 divorce certs with translations, our marriage book (Indonesia uses a book, I sent my original book.. could it be because I did not send my huband's book?) with translation, his biographical page of Passport with translation...his childen are not following him to america so i did not put their birth certificates with DS 230, but copies of their birth certificates with translation were submitted to USCIS already...Indonesia does not require police clearance certificates.. so that is not there.. and I state it is not included and that it is on the Recip. Country list as not being required for him to get....So .... what did I miss? I cant figure it out.. all forms were signed appropriately....and no.. even though every other form and letter has come to be via email from NVC.. this one did not come.. yet... what a long weekend this is going to be until I can call Monday morning....

HM looking over what you sent/did not send:

Indonesia does require police certs if the applicant is still in Indonesia. We had to submit them for K3 from Jakarta but we did not have to submit them for DCF from Riyadh. In other words for us they were not required only if the applicant applies from another country.

As I recall my wife obtained one from DKI? unsure but it was national police station in Jakarta and covered the entire country. When my wife gets back I will ask her exactly where she went to get it.

We never submitted an original marriage book, only copies of the book (and) copies of the translation. It can't be the marriage book as they are identical.

You are going to need those marriage books - try to get that original back.

Did you submit IRS transcripts or copies of the tax returns? If you copied your tax return and did not include copies of all the W2's then they will ask for that.

They want ALL birth certificates of the beneficiary's children (they specifically ask for them) whether the children are travelling or not.

That might be the missing info if the tax info was right.

That's all I am thinking based on what you sent

Good luck!

NVM on the police certificate. They required them in 2008 but I see that they dropped the requirement LOL...they must have figured out since they collected "pocket money" to get one they stopped asking for them

Thanks for your reply. For the police cert I actually emailed the embassy and asked if required and they said no, so I didn't think it was that. Birth certificates of my and my husbands children all got submitted with a vvery long RFE from USCIS. But maybe you are right for his kids. Although instructions stated to send only for those on the visa application.

I was looking at our Packet IV instructions from a few weeks ago. For some reason they asked for self, spouse, and all unmarried children under 21 (applicant's). No comment in the instructions on whether they are travelling with the applicant or not.

From what you said was submitted and from our Packet III/IV instructions this is the only thing I could see that was missing.

Good luck!

thank you. my instructions all say for applicant and any family member immigrating with him....but here is what i really wonder....is it even my husband's docs this is about? my 864 was received on monday, his docs were received wednesday and the review of docs t-his message is talking about was on thursday. i find it hard to believe my husband's visa app was even out of the mailroom yet on thursday, nevermind being reviewed....although i got to say, i am pretty impressed if it isonly my docs getting reviewed after just 3 days....i guess i will find out tomorrow when they start answering the phones again.

Okay... so here is the update....and I actually read this in Wiki guide for bringing your spouse here.. but due to timing issues, was too afraid to hope that it would apply to me. Apparently, as told to me by the NVC employee this morning, if NVC reviews your Affidavit of Support documents and they do not at that time have the beneficiary's Visa App and supporting documents, then they send you a letter and the AVR message states, we have reviewed your documents and found missing/incomplete....the missing documents is that they dont have the DS230 yet.... duh... The wiki guide stated that this may happen IF they review your AOS and you have not yet paid your IV bill or sent the DS230... as I had paid the IV bill and the DS230 had been sent and received by NVC the day before the review... I was afraid to hope it could be the reason for the AVR message.. Thank god it was... and ps.. My AOS package was fine.. just waiting for the word on the DS230 package now... Thanks again for your replies.

If they don't find anything missing from your DS-230 package, your case could be completed very soon. We also got the "missing information" message on November 9, after they reviewed our DS-230 but hadn't gotten to our AOS yet. The following day, on November 10, our case was completed. We were very pleasantly surprised at how fast everything was!
