Hey guys,

I have my interview for my AOS on November 21st....I didn't get my shots in London so I'm having to go and see a civil surgeon on November 16th who are insisting that I have to have the whole medical all over again. Though I have read that some CS will just do the vaccination transcripts I have called so many that I'm just prepared to go ahead and have the medical now as I cant't really be bothered with all the hassle.

I have my vaccination records signed and stamped from my doctor back in England, so my question is will that be sufficient enough evidence for them? Also will I be required to have a FLU shot?

Any help on this matter will be greatly received

I would keep trying to find a CS who understands the rules. You might try downloading the instructions to the I-693 and giving the doctor a copy. See page 4 where it says you do not need another exam.

You will need a flu shot because your Nov 16 appointment is during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31.)

My wife only sent her vaccination worksheet from her Canadian medical. Never saw a civil surgeon. Wasn't an issue. YMMV

If he had gotten his shots before his visa medical and recorded on the DS3025, he could have avoided the CS as well. From his post, it seems like he didn't get shots until after the visa medical so his DS3025 will not show he met the requirements. Now a civil surgeon will have to sign off on on the records from his family doctor. And if he had gotten a complete DS3025 at his London medical, he would have avoided the flu shot because it wasn't during flu season.
