RFE - I'm at the end of my rope!

So Ive been waiting, calling, waiting, working, and finally get a day off again to call the NVC to see what's up and forgot that today is a holiday and no operators!

Well the avr confirms I have an RFE for financials. My aft of support (spouses parents) scanned things crooked and refused to fill out ALOT of optional financial info m the 864 which I thought wad fine. Guess not.

I won't know exactly what it is about until it shows up in the mail I guess.

I thought they would email the rfe info since I was under electronic processing?

I guess he/ she is struggling because the I-864 is no good and the parents-in-law refused to re-do it. Well every notices from USCIS will come with a hard-copy mail so I guess we wait til then. In case of worst thing, I guess you could find another sponsor... Good luck.

No. And it is not a false RFE

The RFE is sent by mail with return documents and instructions and a return envelope. Telling people details by email would inevitably result in people sending RFE responses to the wrong place and make things a big mess.

I'm not sure about that. There are numerous people on here who have received their RFE via email if you search it.

Did you hear it on the AVR first or did you just get an email?

Email. There's a letter in the email that u have to return with the requested documents and another barcoded sheet( checklist letter response) and then u have the instructions saying what was missing.

PD- September 17 2010

Interview scheduled for January 14 2013.
