Im kinda confused with your question. Is she done with the medical and interview or you're just waiting for the VISA now?

Once you get the MLA CASE number (you can get it by calling), you can go ahead and schedule your medical and interview. She doesn't have to wait for the packet.

getting NOA2 is the longest wait, like 3-5mos but once you're done with the interview, in 3days-2weeks, you can get the visa, that is if your case isn't put into AP.

Have you gotten your NVC case number yet? If not, after your approved NOA2 mailed from USCIS, they will forward your papers to NVC.

USCIS => NVC => USEM

Once you get your case number, follow up USEM through email if they received the documents. They will then reply your email if your case has entered into their system and/or physical file have already been received. With this email, they will provide you the links (this serves as your Packet). Don't wait the physical Packet as it will take you longer (of waiting). Follow the links where you also need to have medical first then sched your interview appointment.

Hope this helps. Goodluck on you journey!

NOTE: Stated above was based on my experience.

You will not get any packet from the US embassy, SOME PEOPLE get a letter telling you that the I-129F is approved, stating manila case number and sites to visit to schedule your interview and/or where to call to schedule the interview and also website on the information you needed to move forward. Again only SOME PEOPLE GET THIS, not all beneficiaries.

Since its been two months, I am pretty sure that your documents is already in the embassy so see this link:

Go ahead and pay and schedule your interview and have your medical and gather all the documents stated.

Goodluck on your journey!!!

OMG! you've lost a lot of time waiting, go ahead and pay the visa fee and schedule the interview and get your medical.

No need to wait...you are all set to move forward with your medical and interview.

I got the US Embassy packet a week after my interview. hahaha! and another funny thing is, they also sent my fiance a copy of the packet (addressed to me but sent to his add in the US). Now that's really funny!!! why would i apply for a visa if i am already in the US??? hehehe...

all im saying is, don't wait for something that may never come. God bless!
