What is his current year, 2011 income? Is he still employed?

that was his income that appeared in his ITR for 2010.. he is currently employed as a full time and part time nurse.. and his income for this year i could say is much enough than the given poverty guideline.. what do you think?

I think it should be enough as long as he is still currently employed :)

yes! he is currently employed as a full time and part time nurse... :)

You're over the 125% poverty guideline, so I won't worry about it. Just make sure the CO understands that your fiancee was a 2009 nurse graduate and once he passed the NCLEX he started working as an RN and that this 2011 year he will make more than enough to support both of you. It also looks great that both of you are nurse grads, so you have potential to be an licensed RN in the USA and not be a public charge.

If you still feel worried about it, I would recommend getting his parents/siblings/or close relative to co-sponsor you as well.

Since you're your fiance filed a I-129F for the K-1, he will submit a I-134 (Affidavit of Support) therefore you only need to be 100% above the poverty level, not 125%.

And from what you have written here, with both a part-time and a full time postion as a RN, he will meet the guide lines with no problem.

Your fine!

I'm terribly sorry, the 125 Percent rule is used here.

Topic has been moved from the CR-1 forum to the K-1 forum as the OP is seeking a fiance visa not a spousal visa.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Darnell you are correct, thanks for pointing that out. I was multi-tasking and got the figures backwards and did not finish my thought on that point.

My finished thought would have been "you only need to be 125% above the poverty, not 100% as stated on here."

I had my head up my @#$ when I posted the figures backwards.

I don't multi-task well.
