my ex fiance and me are not going to get married, but i can stay within 90 days,my question is if i finished that exact 90 days do i still need a ticket or the immgration will be the one will give me that.

Yes you need a plane ticket and no it's not his obligation. I suggest you contact the Philippines embassy to ask for assistance if your parents can't buy you a ticket.

Sorry to hear that. I remember in the CFO seminar that the fiancee will be the to buy you a ticket back to PI.

No he doesn't have to. There is no such obligation.

What ticket are you talking about? What ticket in 90 days? More details please!

I'm just wondering... is the ex-fiance even OBLIGATED to buy her a plane ticket? Like, what if he and her aren't talking at all right now (after she had landed in the US), and he doesn't want to help her... He's not obligated, is he?

NO, he is not obligated to buy her a ticket home. It's a nice parting gesture if he is kind enough to do so.

Yup, that was what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification (although Vanessa&Tony had clarified earlier, too, on another post).

For the OP, though, I don't think the ex-fiance will buy her a ticket home... seems like they ended on bad terms. I hope not, but it seems like it.

what if i finished my 90days in u.s but havent got ticket.what will happen?

Unless you have an encounter with federal law enforcement then it's unlikely anything will happen to you. You should try to make arrangements to return home before you've overstayed more than 180 days. Otherwise, you'll receive a ban when you leave the US. They won't try to prevent you from leaving or give you a hard time. You just wouldn't be able to come back to the US for three years.

Next time, please post your follow up questions in the thread you've already started.

Yeah, it does not sound good. The best thing she can do is reach out to family and the nearest Philippine consulate.

I agree the Fiance is not obligated to facilitate her travel home. but in my opinion, for this case and all others like it, no matter the circumstances of why its not working out, if the beneficiary wants to go back to home country, the petitioner should provide at least half of that cost. The reality is that the petitioner is at least half responsible for the beneficiary being here (or whatever country) in the first place. I know that doesn't help OP in her present situation, but that's my opinion.

I mean really, how else is she supposed to get back? It's not likely that she was just after GC or entry into the country, based on the information available. If she were she wouldn't want to go back home, right? How would going back home benefit her if she were just after the GC or any other scam? Just saying because if that were the case them maybe petitioner might be hesitant to assist her travel home but that wouldn't make sense cuz if she were scamming I would think she would want to stay rather than go back.

If it were me, I would just pay the fare for her to go back - no harm no foul. Better than letting her stay here out of status and possibly end up getting government assistance and have the government after me for payback, per the Affidavit of Support I signed and am legally bound to. Besides, it would just be the right thing to do, by my standards.

I wish OP the best and pray for God's blessing for her in this matter.
