When I fly over to Manila in a couple weeks I will be arriving at 930pm. My flight out of terminal 3 to gensan leaves at 5am. Does the shuttle run all night between the two terminals? When I was there last time the guard said I had to wait because the other terminal was closed till 2 hours before first flight. I think he was FOS he just wanted to keep me around and try to milk me of some money. He failed with the milking. hahahaha But I did have to hang out in the dumpy airport. I would much rather hang out in the new domestic terminal.

I have done the late night - Gensan the next day route many times. A trick is to go to one of the spas / massage parlors near the airport. Many have legitimate massages. They also have beds, showers and nice private bathrooms. You can check in for less than a hotel, get a massage, a shower, a bed for a few hours, etc. And last time I was there, terminal 3 was indeed closed until 2 hours before the first flight.

You can always take a cab from terminal 1 to 3. They're relatively close. Not sure about the hours of operations of Terminal 3 but I checked this website and it says it has 24/7 luggage services http://www.silent-gardens.com/air-naia.php.

If you do take a cab, find one from the taxi stand, and make sure you get a chit before you pay him. Cabbies are notorious for rolling at worst, and swindling at best, newly arriving tourists. Make sure you have at least a few hundred pesos in various denominations before you leave the airport, and don't pay anybody in dollars unless you know them well.
