This is my case. I have the same co-sponsor for both my parents. He's filing a separate form for each one. He makes $42000 a year.

He will check in both applications:

Himself = 1

wife = 1

dependants = 3

mother = 1

TOTAL 6

But if he's the co-sponsor for both my parents wouldn't it be 7 people instead of 6? In that case his income doesn't reach the poverty guideline, and he won't qualify to be the sponsor?

Can anyone help me on this? PLEASE

If he doesn't reach the guideline for 7 people then he cannot sponsor both parents.

He's not married, what if he doesn't include his wife? then he'd qualify, right?

He doesn't claim her in his taxes.

Question - how can he be "not married" and have a wife?

He must include his wife even if he does not file taxes with her. He has a legal obligation (through the marriage) to support his wife.
