Thank God. we are approved!!!! on nov 7, i saw i checked in our uscis site our case status and there i saw it the status from review to post decision activity and it says we are approved day after we got a text message from uscis that we are approved but until now we haven't received our NOA2 hard copy yet. as i have read in some forums and time lines they already have called nvc 3 says after the approval and there they got the case # and that's in-able them to pay for the visa and a schedule for interview. my questions are:

1.) can we proceed to the next step by calling nvc if they got out packet from uscis already or so we really need to wait for the hard copy from the uscis?

in addition to the above, i live in cebu but i was planning to stay in manila after medical and interview. my fiance and i changed our plan instead of getting a flight from cebu to TN we are planning change my itinerary from manila to TN so another question is:

2.) can i pick up my visa in manila 2go office? or they will send it right away to cebu since i put my cebu address to all the forms i filled up?

i badly need your advice, we are in a hurry because im prego later next month is my 7th im afraid we will be having a problem at the airline if things will get slow this time... although my doctor allow me to travel till january.

1. You do not need to wait for the hard copy from NVC to proceed, however, you do need to give them time to get your case and assign a MIL #. That can take a few days to a week or more. But you need to give USEM time to get your case into the system, then you can pay the visa fee.

(a) The visa will not be printed right away, it could take, again from a few days to well over a week or more to get the visa. Every case is different, so when someone gets the visa in hand is all over the map.

2. While at the embassy for the interview, make arrangements then as to how you will pick up your visa.

Also know there are still things that can delay this process, therefore, your pregnancy does not constitute an emergency on their part.

@ leatherneck, thank you for the prompt reply. it is very much appreciated... God Bless!!:)

Your welcome!

Too save time, you can schedule your interview and medical a couple of days apart. In that case, when you finish your medical, SLMCEC will give you the results so you can hand carry the sealed results to the interview.

Pay the visa fee at BPI, do not wait.
