JANUARY 2011 MUMBAI IR-1/CR-1 INTERVIEW

I was wondering if any one of you have received the interview package, as told by NVC??? I am still waiting for it.VFS told me to bring the interview package too that i will be receive from Mumbai (Though I know even if I don't receive it there will be no problem.

My case was sent to Mumbai Consulate on 7-Dec according to NVC AVR so if Mumbai consulate is sending the interview pacakge then we should receive something in coming week..but I am not waiting for that I have already scheduled Medical on 17 & VFS document submission on 19..

We are also waiting for packet from Mumbai consulate, but have not received anything yet. I believe our case was sent to Mumbai sometime in last week of November, but we still have not received anything. Anyway, I think it does not matter; we will have letter sent via email.

We did not get an interview packet when my wife had her interview last month. We had no direct communication with the consulate at all until the day of the interview. All of the info we researched here and obtained by ourselves with the help of friends that went thru the process before us.

if thats the case..that is if they wont be sending us an interview packet..what abt the interview..because we would definitely need the interview letter for VFS and medical...where do we getthat from? and also are w gonna get that thru email r postal mail from NVC? thank u....

Do you guys have any idea like what exactly we have to submit at VFS and what is the right time to get the medical done and submit the doc at VFS, i mean how much earlier and how late it could be?

Medical can be done anytime after you receive your interview letter email from NVC. You can either choose to take the Medical report with you to interview or submit it at VFS.

VFS accepts documents between 10 - 15 business days (a small window of 5 days) of your interview date.

The documents required are a copy of interview letter, a copy of the boi-graphic pages of the beneficiary's passport, courier fee INR 387.00, and 2-3 passport photos.
