Response back from expedite request had an error

About a month or so back, I called the support number to request expedited processing for my I-130. I got an email back saying I needed to fax over additional documents as support evidence.

I sent about an 11 page packet explaining my situation, providing evidence, etc. Last week, I finally got a response back through the mail saying that my situation did not qualify for expedited processing.

Long story short, the letter I received had the correct case number and my name/address on the top was correct. However, the actual letter itself was addressed to the wrong person. It wasn't a typo but a completely different name.

I'm not sure if they sent me someone else's response, have screwed up my application, or what. And it's practically impossible to get in touch with CSC. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Call the USCIS number get a rep on the line ask for a supervisor and tell them what happened so they can look into the issue.

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

Call into USCIS, get an ISO, a Tier 2 Human

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
