Employee Authorization without Affidavit of support

Hello,

I have currently valid 4 months J1 visa left and I have married with u.s citizen, i will apply for green card but my wife has not income enough to be my sponsor (affidavit of support) and i can't find someone else to be sponsor for me.

I know it is impossible to get green card without sponsor but I need to know that is it possible to get employee authorization card without sponsor?

If I apply my green card and employee authorization with my wife as sponsor, will I able to get employee authorization ? Otherwise is there anything I can do without sponsor?

I waived my j1 2 years rule. As I said i couldn't find co sponsor.

Any US citizen or Green Card hold can be a sponsor. You and your spouse need to be more resourceful if you would like to complete the adjustment of status.

As you read through the I-765 instructions you will see that you need proof of a valid status to obtain the EAD.

In the circumstances that you describe, applying for the Adjustment of Status is the only thing that will give you immigration status to obtain the EAD. That requires having a joint sponsor who meets the income requirements.

I know how hard it is to get a sponsor!!!! I couldn't get any one to help out because Most Americans are funny people. I had to pay someone money to help out!!!! Can you imagine that?

There is no way you can submit the AOS without a strong sponsor so I would advice you to keep looking and dont send your Application in until you have a sure sponsor. I almost lost all my hard work in the process due to RFE
