Hi VJ community members!!!

I'm Yasmine. I currently live in NJ. I just got married this past summer in July in Egypt. I met my husband in the summer of 2010 and we've been together ever since (and when I say together I just mean we've been talking since the time we met and I spent this past summer with him in Egypt)...lol

I filed for the I-130 when I came back from Egypt in September and I've just been trying to be patient since. So hello to all of you and I hope we can support each other on our journeys. :)

USCIS

Sept. 22, 2011 - NOA1

March 13, 2012 - NOA2 (via text/email)

NVC

March 19, 2012 - Case received at NVC (in building)

April 02, 2012 - Received case #, IIN, submitted email addresses

April 03, 2012 - AOS bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 03, 2012 - emailed DS-3032

April 04, 2012 - AOS fee cleared from bank account

April 06, 2012 - DS-3032 acceptance email received

April 10, 2012 - AOS payment 'PAID'; AOS package sent

April 16, 2012 - AOS accepted/completed

April 25, 2012 - IV bill invoiced & paid; 'IN PROCESS'

April 27, 2012 - IV payment 'PAID'; IV package sent

May 01, 2012 - NVC case complete!!!

May 09, 2012 - Received interview notification email

May 10, 2012 - Case was sent to embassy

May 16, 2012 - Medical Appointment

June 04, 2012 - Approved

Goodluckk :) Hopefully its not that long of a wait! So far its almost going to be 3 months of waiting for me lol I hate waiting..

USCIS STAGE

8/22/2011: NOA1 EMAIL(never received a hardcopy nor txt)

3/23/2012: NOA2 EMAIL!!!! :D

3/28/2012: NOA2 HARDCOPY

NVC STAGE

4/09/2012: NVC Recieved

4/24/2012: Got NVC Case# and Invoice ID#

4/25/2012: Sent DS-3032 email and Paid AOS fee

4/26/2012: AOS fee showed "paid"

5/2/2012: Sent AOS Package and NVC accepted DS-3032 email

5/4/2012: Received and Paid IV fee

5/7/2012: Sent IV Package

5/14/2012: Case Complete at NVC!

6/6/2012: NVC Left!!

Beirut Lebanon Consulate

7/11/2012: Interview!!

Result: My husband is put in Administrative processing :(

8/17/2012: Embassy called my husband to bring the pasport for the visa!! :D

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

Oh my lady friend, dress your heart with patience you have a good 10-12 months to go, but hopefully less! <<crossing my fingers>>. I also went to Egypt in September (labor day weekend). I live in New York City.... neighbors!

Thanks everyone!!! I am aware that it'll be a year long wait (hopefully less and NOT any more than that), but hopefully the people I meet here on VJ will help the time go by faster (and more importantly, go by efficiently!). I hope to really get to know some of you as we go through this process together. :D
