I don't think "normal" men would expect a ####### in return for a job. Just either: 1. idiots who forget the asking/begging/trading favors for BJ's starts during a relationship, or 2. guys who don't know how to hit on a woman well enough to figure out you have to motivate her to give you one (plus this approach results in a better one for you so it's much more convenient in the long run) 3. men who think that power alone will get every woman to do whatever they want. I wouldn't vote for any man who does this type of ####### as, in the least and best scenarios, it shows a very bad sense of timing.

4. A man, who can't get laid other than in exchange for a job position.

Alla's opinion of things at that time was either, you were a very smart, clever woman that added a lot to the business with your knowledge...or you gave sex.

That's true. But it should not be considered "normal".

One of my best friends has like half of her family in the local government in Russia (the city I used to live in), her dad is a CEO in one of the city's companies... Anyway, it was her 21st birthday and her uncle tried to hit on every girl there... saying "What are your plans for the future? I mean... there is a chance that you can work in the local government in a couple of weeks". We tried not to be rude, he was still our friend's uncle... But we were like  #######??? Until the birthday girl heard him and said: "Hey, old bag, what do you think you're doing?" Her dad cracked up laughing, her uncle didn't say a word after that.

I believe there were girls, who would have sex with her uncle for a job position... But I don't consider it "normal"...

OK, now we are getting to the point.

So would that behavior in 1991-1997 in the FSU have been more "normal" than a man not paying for a dinner after ordering a $400 bottle of wine? Which would an FSU woman of the period find more shocking? Is it more normal now?

Except that such men probably do not have a job position to offer anyway. Though I often wonder how some rather wealthy people ever managed to make that much money as they seem to be just completely stupid...so who knows?

I would find it shocking that somebody would find a $400 bottle of wine in FSU in 1991-1997...

No, sexual harassment is not "normal" anyway. It might be common, but it's not "normal", if you see what I mean.

Except that such men probably do not have a job position to offer anyway.

We're talking about FSU here

I don't know if that's 100% true, but one of my university teachers was once talking about stereotypes and she said: "Western Europeans believe that if a person is rich, he/she is smart and hard-working. Americans believe that a rich person is smart, hard-working and lucky. Russians believe that he's a thief and a liar".

I don't even know where to start.

Most women start with a glance. They quickly look away but then they look back, smile coyly, and then giggle a little.

The hair sweep is crucial. Do it, and you'll set in motion two million years of evolution.

Slick Willie had issues with women long before he reached the White house, as in Juanita Broaddrick and Paula Jones.

He still has issues. Look at his wife.

He's always went for the ugly/fat girls. If you want to see how to pick 'em, check out Tom Brady. That's a man who knows how to do his checkdowns.

Cain is definitely a threat. He is a conservative black man who wants to change the carefully f*cked up revenue system to something simple that cannot be manipulated for political purposes.

Conservative black man? Yep, if he gets 20% of the black vote, Obama loses. The Dems know this. As a black man some things are "off limits" in our politically correct society so he cannot be attacked directly the way you could do to a white, middle aged guy. Our elections are typically very close, even Obama barely got 52% and that was considered a comfortable win. Take away ONE of his constituent bases...some of the black vote, the independents, white women over age 45...you name it, and he loses.

You need to understand that as the constitution is written, the Federal government has very little power, as it should be. Over the years the federal government has used and manipulated our completey f*cked up revenue system to manipulate people and grab power they would otherwise be unable to grab...by holding the purse strings. The revenue system is not even a revenue system any more. It is a political control system. How did they make the US drinking age 21? Withold tax money from states if they didn't.

They gave $8000 tax credits to people to buy hoimes in order to get people to buy homes, cash for clunkers, etc. The system is so convoluted and complicated, purposely, that they can do just about anything and no one really knows it. They can say "We will give you XXX and make someone else pay for it"

Enter 9-9-9 OR a flat tax OR the FAIR TAX and all that goes away. Imagine that Michelle Bachman, a "former tax attorney" does not like it! A tax attorney would not like a system that allows you to have a postcard for a tax return. What a surprise.

The debates about issues ALWAYS revolve aroud how it will be paid for and who will pay for it. We need to establish a revenue source for our country that cannot be manipulated, threatened, misused, abused. THAT is how we pay for things. If we need to raise taxes then we raise taxes on EVERYONE and everyone benefits.

Herman Cain's wild ideas AND his popularity is a threat that has to be killed NOW and that is what they are trying to do.

The amazing thing to me, so far, is despite all this digusting behavior his popularity is holding.

Exactly.

Western Europeans believe that if a person is rich, he/she is smart and hard-working. Americans believe that a rich person is smart, hard-working and lucky. Russians believe that he's a thief and a liar".

Yep.

I just grabbed her luggage and said in perfect Russian "C'mon follow me, I'll show you"

Alla says now "If anyone ever takes your luggage in the airport and says 'c'mon follow me, I'll show you'...CALL THE POLICE!"

A Pats fan, really? Also, you're talking with reverence about a man who looked like an overgrown Justin Bieber until a few weeks ago.

You officially lose your man card when the hair flip works better for you than it does for your feminine partner.

He was talking about the gal doing the hair flip. Gals will give ya that look, toss their head along with the hair flip..when they add a sly smile to all that you know it's on. Chicks rock in that dept.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Is that a NASCAR reference?

You just went from a 10 to an 11.

I'm not a Pats fan or a Tom Brady fan. But, I have to acknowledge the dude's record.

Chicks don't rock. They simply do what comes naturally.

A few years ago a friend of mine's little sister turned 21 and met up with us at the bar. As soon as I arrived she smiled, said hi, and then did not one, but TWO hair flips - one on each side. I told the older sister it was on and her sister wanted to give me some.

"You're not having sex with my sister!"

Everyone at the table just kind of chuckled and then pointed out to her that she did, in fact, do a double hair flip... and whatever happened after that is acceptable because she asked for it.

Sexual harassment okay as it ensures humans breed, Russian judge rules

A Russian advertising executive who sued her boss for sexual harassment lost her case after a judge ruled that employers were obliged to make passes at female staff to ensure the survival of the human race.

By Adrian Blomfield in Moscow 6:33PM BST 29 Jul 2008

The unnamed executive, a 22-year-old from St Petersburg, had been hoping to become only the third woman in Russia's history to bring a successful sexual harassment action against a male employer.

She alleged she had been locked out of her office after she refused to have intimate relations with her 47-year-old boss.

"He always demanded that female workers signalled to him with their eyes that they desperately wanted to be laid on the boardroom table as soon as he gave the word," she earlier told the court. "I didn't realise at first that he wasn't speaking metaphorically."

The judge said he threw out the case not through lack of evidence but because the employer had acted gallantly rather than criminally.

"If we had no sexual harassment we would have no children," the judge ruled.

Since Soviet times, sexual harassment in Russia has become an accepted part of life in the office, work place and university lecture room.

According to a recent survey, 100 per cent of female professionals said they had been subjected to sexual harassment by their bosses, 32 per cent said they had had intercourse with them at least once and another seven per cent claimed to have been raped.

Eighty per cent of those who participated in the survey said they did not believe it possible to win promotion without engaging in sexual relations with their male superiors.

Women also report that it is common to be browbeaten into sex during job interviews, while female students regularly complain that university professors trade high marks for sexual favours.

Only two women have won sexual harassment cases since the collapse of the Soviet Union, one in 1993 and the other in 1997.

Human rights activists say that Russian women remain second-class citizens and are subjected to some of the highest levels of domestic abuse in the world.

Even a judge agrees...men must grab women's arses to ensure the human race survives. I am a humanitarian and didn't even know it until now. :star:

Before the female has the job or the first pay check, she is "browbeaten."

Russian guys don't waste any time.
