does anyone know how (frequency, general patterns, protocol) the Montreal embassy schedules interviews for cases completed by the NVC? Do they follow a set schedule based on your date of completion at NVC?

Thanks!

They go in order of when cases were completed. It's not a set schedule. Each month Montreal has X number of interviews for CR-1. Then the NVC starts with the case that was completed the longest time ago and keep scheduling in that order until the interviews are all gone. Based on current trends it seems like interviews are being scheduled for approx. four months after case completion, but will hopefully speed up. So based on the "current" trend, if your case was completed on Feb. 1st, your interview should be in early June. Of course, this is not exact, and your interview may well be before June.

Can you fill in your timeline? It helps people better answer questions when we can see your dates and such. :)

Hopefully the interview scheduling will speed back up so it is as it was last year -- around two months from case completion to interview.
