Unfortunately I've been so busy that I haven't had time to worry about immigration. I guess that's a good thing.

Ya same here. After the venting and ranting before the letter of extension was received, not much point doing anything else but to keep waiting....stay busy, forget about this for a few months and don't sweat unless it's back to the end of the expiration date ....

I just sent mine in last week and Im already going crazy waiting or really I just want Our BIO appt Letters so I can track my case and relax

Yeah this waiting and not knowing is annoying. My DH went and did his biometircs today so now we will wait for an eon. At least he has is letter to extend his green card. My DH even picked up the little pamphlet about becoming an American citizen without me pushing him too it. He made me laugh when he said, "Yeah, I will probably apply for my citizenship before I get my 10 year green card."

Hello lovely Canucks!

Just popping by to say that we moved, we bought a house and of course, got an RFE regarding my removal of conditions. Not too surprising, really as they need to know that we're still living together/together. Just wondering, which part of our mortgage docs should I send? I was going to copy the big HUD part, it seems to say all we need to say. Plus I was going to send a copy of the new tax assessment for that property as well as a copy of the mortgage statement that we get each month.

What say you oh wise VJers?

Congrats on the house and the new pupper!

Use the Hud. Its what the bank uses to make your mortgage statement anyway and its what gets sent in to the county for taxes etc. Everything is based on it.

I'd send the assessment and statement as well. But you know me, ever since the k1 i've gone overboard with info! lol.

I have GREAT news! Last Tuesday, we got a letter approving my 10-year green card. The letter was dated September 7, 2012. We should receive my green card within 60 days

Yay! I'm just waiting for our tax transcripts to arrive to mail off our package. I am using the HUD portion of our mortgage, the tax breakdown of the new property and what else? couple of other things. i hope that's okay, i would really LOVE to be done with all this jazz.

To be honest, while the wait was long, it didn't bother me as much as the wait for the I-129F. At least at this point, we are all waiting with our significant others, in our new home, with our new families. I certainly did not feel the same loneliness and anxiety I felt waiting for package 3 or not knowing when the Montreal interview would be scheduled. That wait seemed so endless, especially since Red and I were apart.

Regardless, I am relieved this part is done because I am taking a trip overseas in January. I am also glad it got done before the elections. Seriously.

Got a text message from USCIS yesterday at 3 am in the morning - the 10-year GC was finally mailed

So.. while I'm prepared to duck at the things being tossed at me by those of you waiting longer...

Somehow, my 10yr Green Card was ordered today.
