The November 2011 Vermont RoC filers are being processed now. December 2011 should start seeing VSC approvals within the next 2-3 weeks.

Wish they would finish up the October 2011 filers before moving on. Plenty of us still waiting. And September as well.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Should I be worried that my DH hasn't gotten his biometrics letter yet? His NOA1 was July 31 and every time I try to access information online it says "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again."

How long did it take to receive your biometrics letters? Anybody from Michigan have a length of time between NOA1 and biometrics for ROC?

I saw a thread that answered my question about the USCIS website: "You need the number on your Biometrics appointment notice" to use with uscis to check for status updates. Bummer. I don't have that yet for DH. Hopefully in the next couple of days.

It took between 2 and 3 weeks to get mine. Depends how busy your ASC is I guess.

12/31/2009 - Marriage

07/21/2010 - AOS approved

08/04/2010 - Green Card received (and it's actually green!)

05/30/2012 - Sent ROC packet to VSC

06/08/2012 - Received NOA1 for ROC (Dated 06/04/2012)

Received DH's biometrics letter came today. It was dated 8/10/12. The date is September 7, 2012 for an appointment but DH is going to try a walkin this Friday since we are already planning to be up in Grand Rapids, MI anyway. The WAC number now works from the ASC appointment notice. Looking forward to being done with this process sometime next year.

ohh thats a good idea about the home inspection report..the first page has a pic of the house addy and both our names! i almost forgot about that! :) I have the home insuance etc. but that is in my husbands name..hmm i'll talk to my allstate rep see if it can be put in both of ours.

ty :)

Yep! Do that! I thought the two cards from All state *the ones you carry if something goes wrong on the road* would be enough..but no. I just got an RFE today...*VSC* and they didn't think that the insurance in just Tim's name was enough...among other things. Unfortunatly..there are some things missing from the beginning of our marriage...like bills in both names, credit cards, etc. because we just didn't get them changed right away. *sigh* We're going to have to get some friends to write statements. Thankfully..we go to church with a notary public!

Oh..my name isn't on the house..but we don't have mortgage/lease, because it's owned outright. I explained that in a letter. We didn't have life insurance; wills, loans etc either. Sheesh. It's almost like they expect you to go run out and do all that...

*whew*....I'd approve you with all that!! Looks good. We didn't have half that. No tax returns, *Tim doesn't file..he's on disability*...the other vehicle is in his name only..but we do have one in both our names..and most of the bills..like cell phone..credit cards..came in his name only..even though I showed that there are two phones...and copied both cards! Yeah...like Tim is going to pay for my cell phone..and let me have a Visa on his account..if we didn't live together! Sheesh!!

Honestly, it all depends on the reviewer. I submitted a copy of our lease, 6 bank statements over the span of our marriage showing joint accounts, a joint vehicle purchase, a joint auto insurance policy, a joint tax return (my husband is also disabled but where I work I added him on the file) and a couple of photos. And that was enough. I think my view on things changed on their process once I came here. I work with medical insurance including military/government based policies. And, I've learned they usually want the bare minimum to get the claim processed. So, that's what I gave them, knowing that if they needed more they would ask and I would give. I hope everyone gets approved soon :)

Canadiandggal I think we are both ok. David and I lived in 3 different addresses so i wanted to make sure they knew we were 100% living together as a happy married couple the whole time and make sure they didn't think we may have separated for any time. I guess having so many issues with my k1 then aos made me super paranoid. Every step of the way has been a struggle with problem after problem from an NOID to our lawyer screwing up to them losing our aos paperwork and not issuing a bio appointment that i guess, i just want to overdo it so they just ok it on the spot. but knowing my luck...something will screw up anyway :( gosh i just can't wait for this #### to be over. :(
