A Majority of Democrats Seldom or Never Go to Church, Says Gallup

(CNSNews.com) - A majority of Democrats—52 percent—say they seldom or never go to church, according to Gallup data published Monday.

That result is based on Gallup’s daily tracking polls conducted between June 1 and Aug. 31 of this year.

In addition to the 52 percent of Democrats who told Gallup they seldom or never go to church, another 20 percent said they go to church nearly weekly or monthly, and 27 percent said they go weekly.

On Oct. 28, Gallup reported that its daily tracking polls between June 1 and Aug. 31 showed that 38 percent of Republicans said they seldom or never go to church, while 21 percent said they go to church nearly weekly or monthly, and 40 percent said they go weekly.

When asked by Gallup what their religious denomination was, 19 percent of Democrats said they had none, while 9 percent of Republicans said they belonged to no religious denomination.

Democrats are less religious than the typical American and Republicans are more religous, according to Gallup’s data. Overall, 15 percent of Americans told Gallup they had no religious denomination. Also, overall, 46 percent of Americans told Gallup they seldom or never went to church, while 20 percent said they went to church nearly weekly or monthly, and 33 percent said they went weekly.

Gallup defines “Democrats” in its polling analysis as “those who either identify as Democrats or who identify as independents but say they lean toward the Democratic Party.” Similarly, it defines “Republicans” as "those who either identify as Republicans, or who identify as independents but say they lean toward the Republican Party.”

As science evolves and people get more educated, they realize that the Earth is older than 5,000 years and that humans and dinosaurs didn't live happily together in harmony. They understand that the Bible is not to be taken as the word of the Almighty, as such a being or, better, non-being doesn't exist, but a collection of old stories, many of which were quite entertaining before we had radio, television, and the Internet.

Educated people know about the impact the overpopulation (just breached the 7,000,000,000 mark) has on the environment, know about associated problems of food supply and, and thus they don't pop out babies, don't go to church, and more often than not vote Democrat.

People who not accept science's achievements, believe that people should not use birth control because it's God's will to overpopulate the planet and have them babies in Africa starve to death, believe that climate change is nonsense and all non-Christians are imbeciles who will not go to Heaven but burn in Hell are those who go to Church and vote Republican.

It's really that easy.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

It isn't that easy. People of faith stand on their faith and will find ways to credit the bible. For example do you know one person of faith that doesn't believe in dinosaurs.

This is why education funding MUST be cut and religion MUST replace science in the classroom. We cannot go down this path where knowledge counts.

This is why education funding MUST be cut and religion MUST replace science in the classroom. We cannot go down this path where knowledge counts.

In the Book of Genesis, God created Apple as the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge.

Using that knowledge, Apple created the iPod, a small device that would digitally store

music without the physical use of Compact Discs. Then Apple created the iPhone which

changed smartphones forever. Finally, Apple created the iPad, a tablet like no other,

and built content around it. Apple's stock soared to unimaginable highs and Apple's

executives made more money than God. And God, whose name is Jealous, was so pissed,

he gave Steve Jobs cancer. The end.
