I know everyone does this, but I'm getting ready to file my K-1 petition (VSC) and I'm so nervous about my packet! Here's what I'm sending in:

1. cover letter

2. G-1145

3. check in the amount of $340.00

4. I-129F

5. I-129F Supplement: Part B, Question 18, explanation of meeting in person

6. proof of having met in person in the past two years (four pictures + five pages of letters, boarding passes, etc.)

7. letter certifying intent to marry (petitioner and beneficiary)

8. G-325A and passport photo (petitioner and beneficiary)

9. G-325A Supplement: Father's Biographical Information (we don't know date of birth, date of death, etc.)

10. full color copy of petitioner's US passport

Truthfully, I think my packet is complete. I think my nervousness is coming from knowing that we've put a deposit on a wedding and reception venue for September 15, 2012 and I'm so afraid this process won't be done by then. So anxious!

your reservations are way too early. too in love perhaps? don't worry, that's normal.

just a tip before sending: go over the forms and check all your entries/information are accurate/correct, signatures in place,dates indicated, and then photocopy everything (it's not uncommomn that later on uscis/nvc will ask for stuff you were sure you sent =)

dont know if you included them in No'6 but passport stamps are good.

make a complete copy just in case.

make sure the cheque is correct.

check everything is signed and dated.

get it mailed off

i think mid September 2012 is a very realistic date

Thanks, everybody! @Zen_Den I'm actually a wedding photographer, so if I don't book my own wedding way in advance, I'll book my own wedding date when I'm scheduling everyone else's weddings.
