yes you can and make sure you have evidence of your reason for expedite ok remember what i told you about that because they will ask for evidence and if you don't they will not process it.

Ok thank you I am gonna have my wife called them tomorrow first time ( 8ham). However, u remember the link u sent to me showing all haiti beneficiary will have there case expedited. Last week my wife called to get more info it is like they are not aware of this decision of haiti beneficiary cases being expedited and they told us once we got a case number to request for it. Thanks Mochamich for letting me know about this forum. As far as ways to keep in touch with my fiancé, I use Yahoo webcam, Digicel recharges online or he recharges his phone himself and Myhaitimobile. I have started using myhaitimobile since when it started and although many were complaining about the quality of calls and customer service, it was fine for me until recently. They sometimes don't answer the phone calls, or they just hang up on you or they don't even understand what you're trying to tell them or you can't understand them because they are from India and the list goes on... One representative was even trying to "holla" at me and told me to tell my friends to leave Myhaitimobile and that he is working for them because he needs money to care for his 5 sisters and many other things. I don't know if I'll stay with them but the price is obviously really good - $40 monthly for "unlimited" calls - compared to how much I used to pay personally before but again my fiancé in Haiti tries to reach me so many times before we actually get in touch, the signal is horrible in most places (they use Haitel which is really not a good company in Haiti when it comes to signal), and the calls do drop at a certain time. It is a matter of personal choice ... ;)

Lol blan or not if you have a love for Haiti (which you clearly do) you are Haitian in my eyes. Thank you for the work you are doing with Haiti.

haha! thanks! my mom gave me a t-shirt that says, "what do you mean i don't look haitian???" haha. i know i will never actually be haitian, but after living here for 5 years, i sometimes wish i was haitian instead of american. they are a beautiful people.

Hi.... I dont believe haiti cases are expedited these days maybe when the earthquake first happened and a couple of months after... But I have yet to see that everybody that has gotten approved before me has waited the typical 5 to 6 month mark for their petition approval. But Im cool with that because I got some things I have to do so the time doesnt bother me at the moment now when I finish handling what I need to handle and I'll be waiting that will be a whole another story  Also it depends on what center your petition is at if its at California okay its normal to see someone approved in 2 or 3 months but vermont your looking at 4 to 6 months of waiting than off to the embassy stage. So I hope you dont have your hopes too high

you're right that's why we need to ecknowledge and understand that EACH AND EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT. I saw a person on here received their NOE2 in 20 days in the past few months and she said she didn't request for the expedite. This is a waiting game because it is we just have to have our ducks in a row before our time comes up. Like wissnan4ever said that's what she's doing. its a very long wait no matter if you get your NOA2 now or later it's still long I know trust me I got my NOE2 in 20 days and i got an interview date 238 days after that. December will make 8 months since i've been in this journey and we're still not done until my hubby has his visa in his hands. so Waiting is the game had to learn it the hard way personally. tongue_ss.gif
