We don't even have started yet. But, I'm going to think we will get an RFE for I-129F. The reason why, because my fiance only wants to follow official website USCIS. I have sent him K1 guide, I have done my research for a few months on this forum. I already have prepared everything all the papers we need, but he just wanted to send what USCIS writes on guide. Oh boy, at least if he's right we are on the right track, but if USCIS sends us an RFE, he will see that Visa Journey is correct one. whistling.gif, I just wanted he knows that I'm doing my best to avoid an RFEyes.gif.

Don't worry too much, If you have all that and they ask for a RFE you just send, your hubby is going to start getting used to hear "I told you".

By the way I did not send all that stuff and nobody asked us for it, even in the AOS interview, the girl just asked how did you meet and we both said Internet, all she said was "Oh, ok" and continued.

Yes, it is true, LOL. I don't want kept bugging him because I know he can handle it well. I just want make sure we prepare everything we need for I-129F. Thank you for the input, Kiv.good.gif

Yes, thank you Barbara. I already told him tonight. Somehow he missed that part. It doesn't say letter of intent to marry, it says provide original statement. I had to send him email this http://www.uscis.gov...i-129finstr.pdf to give an explanation about it.

Statement, Letter whatever you both have to send one signed, and you know all we sent was pics too about 8 of them and that was all.

Not yet. But we are starting to do the papers for this week. I've heard somewhere -through gravepine wacko.gif- someone got an RFE because he did not send enough for his relationship evidence to USCIS. I was like, oh man, it can't be happened to me just because my fiance refuses to send additional proofs. That's why I'm started thinking I'm going to get an RFE after the I-129F sent out later this month. Finally, we made some compromise of it. Especially that many VJers gave me many inputs. good.gif

Thank you again, Barbara. I guess would stop asking him to add those evidence to our I-129F packet anymore since now. yes.gif. He understood very well and not quizzed me about that.laughing.gif

Well here in PI, the petitioner just need to show that we met in person. The proof of ongoing relationship is only for the beneficiary's interview. I also did a poll about the screenshot and it showed there that only 3 out of 43 respondents said that the CO even checked it. Click here to see. This is PI though.

oops, it's not entirely true that the CO does not look at your proof docs. i also thought they don't. the truth is it only seems they don't, but somebody else actually does the pre-interview task of going through all your submitted docs even before your interview, such that when it's your turn they're already given a notes on what to ask you and what docs to verify with you etc, and which is why if your application is impeccable, you are hardly asked any "hard" questions =)

I guess about proof of ongoing relationship. I told him to print call logs on Skype, some emails, gift detail orders, chat history, call history to his work and cellphone using Skype service, and a bunch of additional papers. But he said doesn't want to send a bunch of documents that not says on USCIS website. He only agreed about pictures together in SIngapore, passport stamps, billing hotel, letter intent to marry and itinery. The rest of them.....a big no no.whistling.gif

I can't blame him for his action. He also very details about filing forms and another documents so I don't have to worry about it. I really wanted to follow what people have done for their I-129F on this forum and approved. But, I guess just have to dreaming about it,headbonk.gif. Thank you teapotgurl, I already have a folder for I-129F.

give him the benefit of the doubt girl, my hubby only submitted proofs required fr the USCIS site, mostly the comingling financial funds, and we got approved without rfe :D

Yes, that's why I don't be so insist. What if he's right? For me, better talk than argue, better discuss than fighting, better to compromise than being selfish. Thank you, Austramericangood.gif. Like teapotgurl suggests,I'll have all documents so if when get an RFE, I already have them. He said that all proof I've prepare is designed to spesifically for K-1 Visa, not for I-129F.

Relationship evidence is for the interview....so relax. Sounds like your proof of having met in the last two years is goo and there's no need for an RFE unless something else is messed up.

You don't need all that extra stuff and it can only get in the way. The I-129F should not be a life story. USCIS looks for fraud and to see if the requirements are met. Mine was bare bones and there was no RFE. The do not want to see 20 photos. They want one within the last two years. They also dont want a year of chat logs. They want the affirmation of intent to marry within 90 days.

A few years ago on one of the web pages I go to we had a man just married to a woman from out of country. Next thing we know he gets an Immigration job at the Vermont Center. He said to just send the information they ask for. Plain and simple.
