We don't even have started yet. But, I'm going to think we will get an RFE for I-129F. The reason why, because my fiance only wants to follow official website USCIS. I have sent him K1 guide, I have done my research for a few months on this forum. I already have prepared everything all the papers we need, but he just wanted to send what USCIS writes on guide. Oh boy, at least if he's right we are on the right track, but if USCIS sends us an RFE, he will see that Visa Journey is correct one. whistling.gif, I just wanted he knows that I'm doing my best to avoid an RFEyes.gif.

on which part you're going to get an RFE?

Just get it ready so it will be mailed right away once you get the notice.

We just mailed 10pages of the divorce papers. We only found out that it's really 22pages when I asked my fiance to get the certified true copy. If they ask for the cert true copy or I need one for my interview, I am ready.

I guess about proof of ongoing relationship. I told him to print call logs on Skype, some emails, gift detail orders, chat history, call history to his work and cellphone using Skype service, and a bunch of additional papers. But he said doesn't want to send a bunch of documents that not says on USCIS website. He only agreed about pictures together in SIngapore, passport stamps, billing hotel, letter intent to marry and itinery. The rest of them.....a big no no.whistling.gif

I can't blame him for his action. He also very details about filing forms and another documents so I don't have to worry about it. I really wanted to follow what people have done for their I-129F on this forum and approved. But, I guess just have to dreaming about it,headbonk.gif. Thank you teapotgurl, I already have a folder for I-129F.

It's ok, for the initial filing proof of ongoing relationship is optional, you need it for the interview though. For the I129 you just need to show proof of meeting in the past 2 years :)

Yes, that's why I don't be so insist. What if he's right? For me, better talk than argue, better discuss than fighting, better to compromise than being selfish. Thank you, Austramericangood.gif. Like teapotgurl suggests,I'll have all documents so if when get an RFE, I already have them. He said that all proof I've prepare is designed to spesifically for K-1 Visa, not for I-129F.

Well here in PI, the petitioner just need to show that we met in person. The proof of ongoing relationship is only for the beneficiary's interview. I also did a poll about the screenshot and it showed there that only 3 out of 43 respondents said that the CO even checked it. Click here to see. This is PI though.

Cross the bridge when you come to it. At this point, you don't even know if you're going to get an RFE. Even if you DID get one, though, it's not the end of the world. Just submit what they ask for. That's it.

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

Corret. I just wanted to follow what people have done for their I-129F on this forum. If my fiance refuses it, oh well, I guess just wait and see. I would not going to cry like a river. I always thinking at worst side but even so bright side always shining because it shows that we are on step ahead for our relationship. It does most matter for both of us. Thank you for the replied.good.gifThe world still spinning around even we got a bunch of an RFE'srofl.gif. I made this topic so people can give me some insight or maybe relate to me?

Proof of ongoing relationship is not required for the I-129f petition so you won't receive an RFE for this. However, it is recommended for some embassies/consulates (like Morocco, where COs are known for often not looking at any evidence brought to the interview) to front load the petition with any evidence you want to be sure the CO sees. Maybe you can find out from others who have gone through your specific consulate to see if they recommend front loading. If they do, then maybe you can explain to your fiance that although its not required, it will help you at the time of your interview. Good luck with your journey!

LOL.

Anyway, in all seriousness, in my case, we gave Skype video call screenshots and some Facebook wallpost screenshots in our initial I-129F petition, and there was no problem. (Of course we also submitted other more important proofs, such as copies of boarding passes, hotel receipts, and all that.) NOA2 received in 71 days. We knew we just needed to generate more proof of ongoing relationship for the interview later on.

It was my fiance thought about filing of I-129F. But, I would going to ask some Indonesians who already have been through this phase. Thank you Housni&Marie.yes.gif. I don't think Indonesia is high fraud country for visa, but who knows? Better well prepared than regret in the future.
