Just picked up my Passport with the VISA in it :)

Just thought I'd let you guys know about the good news :) ! Also, it was suppose to go to Markham location as I had picked that location on CSC website, but when I got a final email this morning, it stated that it's ready for pickup at their main facility located in Brampton. I thought it was a mistake, but then I decided to call before I headed out, and it was indeed at the wrong location. Anyway, instead of doing anything about it over the phone, I busted a U turn on my rental and went the other way :). So the moral of the story is that please don't assume that it'll be at the location you've specified (especially in the GTA as both locations are within 30 kms of each other), call in after you get the final email to verify before you go to pick it up! Thanks again you guys for your support and walking us through this process, couldn't have done it without the VJ family :)

CONGRATULATIONS! You are so lucky too! I was the day after you and still trying to find out how to get a waybill number if I don't get one in an email... Still nothing for nobody!! :(

If you made the appointment online then it shows up when you log on to the appointment website again. At least that's how it worked at the Vancouver consulate... lol

YAY just got my email regarding the visa being in transit... the way it is sent you can't really tell whether it's from Loomis or the government, but who cares!!!

YAY just got my email regarding the visa being in transit... the way it is sent you can't really tell whether it's from Loomis or the government, but who cares!!!

Congratulations :thumbs: I knew it was just a matter of time before you get that email. I think I read it somewhere in your other post that you'll be driving for a couple of hours just to pick it up! I'm not sure if you know this...for only 16 bucks they'll deliver it to your door. So if you're not planning on leaving very soon and can afford to wait a couple of days, you might want to send DHL an email, along with the credit card. I just think driving a couple of hours would be a waste of time and of course the gas lol :)

I'm planning on leaving this Thursday, still contemplating whether to use Buffalo crossing or go through Michigan? I'm driving all the way to Texas, so it's going to be one hell of ride :) When are you planning on leaving for the US (POE)?
