Children at AOS Interview

I will be having are interview soon. I was wondering if we should bring our 18 month old daughter. Are daughter is very active and I know she want stay in one place, especially if we have to wait hours to see a immigration officer. So should be bring her, so they can see that we are a legetimate family or should I have a babysitter on our interview date? Is it beneficial to bring her or do the immigration officers prefer not to have children in the interview room?

Do you have children with your spouse who you are filing with? (just wondering)

We brought our daughter as we didn't have a sitter available. She was about 14 months at the time. The IO actually had toys in her office (after all, some people bring kids that are also being interviewed) but it was kind of a mess as she wanted to climb on the chairs, etc. I don't think it made any difference in showing we were a legit family. Also, we were lucky that we didn't have to wait long but some people wait a long time. If you have a sitter, I'd get one, but if you want/need to bring your daughter you can.

We have a 14 month old and was advised by our lawyer not to take her to the interview. Having a child there will cause some distraction. Please get a sitter for this day. The wait might be long and the IO might not be a friendly one.
