The guy you quoted who attacked Chavez for his verbal abuse of Bush is a hypocrite pure and simple - I don't see how liberalism (as a broad ideology) ties into that at all, as much as it is about political grandstanding for the upcoming elections. He's not alone in that. Is it despicable? Yes. Unique? Unprecedented? No.

But I would like to see you seriously qualify your assertion that "Liberals have done massive damage to the US". We had this discussion in a thread some time ago - and noone was able to answer that question.

As such it relies not only on unreasoning hatred of political opposition groups, but clear ignorance about how ideology is separate from partisan politics.

Clinton is a liberal, no if about it. If leftists didnt like him why is he front and center with the party?

To qualify liberals are hurting us, every time a liberal makes a personal attack on the president, Bush is a terrorist, Bush is hitler, Does this HELP! of course not and you know it! What do these remarks tell lets say, the terrorists! It tells them to basically keep up the fight! and the people who want to kill us can use these quotes to recruit new terrorists. Wheather you agree or not with me these remarks are definately not helpful in any shape or form!

Michael Moore, the guy the Democrats granted a seat next to former President Jimmy Carter during the Democratic National Convention, called President Bush a "deserter," said "there is no terrorist threat" and denounced the war in Iraq, arguing that America entered into it because of "the oil companies, Israel, Halliburton."

All prominent people in our government if you dont think this seriously hurts us, well then I dont know what else to say other than ignorance is bliss.

As a result of that now infamous interview with Fox reporter Chris Wallace, former President Bill Clinton further exemplified the ugly reality of the American left.

During his two terms in office, Clinton did indeed diligently pursue those he considered his enemies, though their ranks were almost entirely comprised of Conservative and Christian political organizations whom he hounded with the full power of the FBI and IRS.

I remember after watching Farenheight 9/11 twice in movie theatres overseas see people cheer and clap at the end. One guys summed it up by saying, " ###### americans are losers..". He did not equate George Bush and the republicans to the issue as Michael Moore intended. The saw it as someone bashing America as a whole..

Point being, when the left criticizes the right foreigners see this as Americans criticizing themselves and laugh at all Americans. So when the left makes irrational statements, documentaries etc condemning Bush 6.2 billion people who do not live in America simply see this as another reason to bash and hate the US more..

Tell me this, how many parties in other countries with opposing views to whoever is in office blatantly criticize their nation??? I have never ever seen such hatred, as from certain Democrats, from an opposing party in any other country in the world..

For a start - I think you're over-emphasising the importance and impact of Fahrenheit 9/11. Not to mention the fact that many people with anti-whatever views don't need "help" to justify their preconceptions. Some of the comments on this thread would be a good example of that.

Similarly If you think all of this is one-sided I seriously wonder whether you've actually been watching the discourses in this country. They are simplified, focussed more on appearances, personalities, soundbites and slogans. It is not relegated to one side of the partisan divide, nor is it particularly heavily skewed that way.
