Hello all! I am relatively new to this forum, and had a couple questions; I'll start with the easy one first. I'm an American citizen living in Jordan w/ my husband, and we're filing the I-130 for the K-3 visa. There is a section for our current address in Jordan; which is problematic b/c we live in Irbid, Jordan and apparently they don't have street numbers for all the houses yet, so we've just put down the street, town, country, and so on. Apparently in Amman, the capital city, there are street numbers, but they are still working on it for other parts of the country. Our apartment building doesn't even have a number on it, there isn't even a street number for the university my husband is employed at. Do you think just putting the street and other info would be acceptable?

2nd Issue & Question:

Muslims on this forum may be familiar with this one. I was previously married to a Pakistani national who turned out to have the ulterior motive of marrying me to stay in the US, something I realized approximately 10months into the marriage, and I promptly left him. The following year, before I was able to start the legal divorce process, I met my current husband, and b/c we were unable to legally be together, we had an engagement in the presence of friends using a generally utilized by Muslims for marriage(in the religious sense ONLY), but in many cases is understood among Muslims to be a document that is a preliminary to the actual marriage. Shortly thereafter, we began living together and I inconveniently got pregnant, so we could not procced with divorce until after the child was born. Our divorce hearing was September 2010. We were married in Jordan, and had the marriae contract translated into English. We had to bring our engagement certificate to the judge for this, and he apparently interpreted this as per the usual situation, a marriage not engagement. I don't speak Arabic, so I didn't realize this until I saw the translation. I don't want to be accused of bigamy when this I-130 is submitted, or have our application denied. What do I need to do? I feel like I should attach a note explaining the situation, and hopefully resolve any problems.

Last, but not least, does it matter how the I-130 is assembled, aside from general neatness? I figured putting the Cover Sheet on top, followed by the I-130 and G-325A and then the additional documents of proof. Do these documents need to be in any particular order or tabbed aside from "attached documents"? I plan on having everything very neat, just not sure which order to assemble the packet.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Cheryl

I'm sure the folks at immigration are aware and familiar with other countries different

address formats. So just fill it in the same way you'd address a snail mail going from

the USA to your town?
