HOW WERE YOU NOTIFIED OF VISA ARRIVAL AT DHL?

Hi there Again,

I just called Loomis, as I am waiting for my visa to arrive after my interview in Montreal last week. I called Loomis in London, ONtario, and they told me that it is the Embassy that advises me of the package being sent and gives me the tracking number. With the Tracking number I can then track/receive the package from Loomis (formerly DHL). They cannot retrieve packages by name. I have heard that some people never got an email from the embassy at all. What way were you notified of your visa being shipped and /or ready to pick up at DHL-Loomis?

I didn't do business with that branch but the one in Quebec City. I received an email from DHL in the evening with my tracking number. The morning after I receive both an email to confirm delivery and I received a courtesy call at 7 in the morning. Both from DHL. I never received or heard anything from the consulate after the interview. They are not the ones who will notify you.

Have you call to inquire if your visa has been issued yet? It can take Montreal a couple weeks before they actually issue and mail your visa.

I got a call and email from DHL- never heard from the consulate. Montreal can be a little slow, mind you- a week isn't *too* long yet. (I'm on my phone so I can't view your timeline.)
