I find it kinda ironic the same state which is synonymous with racism is in fact working so hard to end Abortions.

Nearly have of Black pregnancies end in abortion.

It's hard to imagine what would make whites (Most pro-lifers are white) who live in perhaps the most Black populated State in the country.....

work to grow that population even more..... how does this add up?

I would have great reason to Luv it too.

It's not a secret every group if guilty of having abortions but Lefties seem to yank their offspring out and chuck them in the trash at higher rates,

as I pointed out above, Blacks are killing half (thats one out of 2) of their unborn babies..... Dude that translates into a lot of lost votes for the DNC... dontcha think?

I guess one could look at the "silver lining" in political terms reflected in fertility rates.

MIght be interesting to see what the numbers are between far left and far Right fertility rates.

Great. We are now paving the way to build and fill more prisons. With unwanting mothers-to-be that happen to have a drink or smoke while they carry to term the baby they don't want. After all, the child deserves the full protection under the law. And CCA deserves every penny worth of profit we can make here. It's not like we have enough prisoners. Or prison guards. You speak as though there aren't waiting lists to addopt these unwanted babies..... we even have parents traveling as far as Siberia, China and Africa to get them.

Lets put this in terms that most "Merkins" will understand. Dollars and cents.

All those good god fearing taxpayers suddenly have to pay for more orphanges, the healthcare and upkeep of these unwanted children. After all the mother maybe and underage rape victim. Wow that brings up another issue. The stigma attached to being an unmarried mother. Imagine having to deal with that in a god centric country. The shame. Oh the shame.

That has nothing to do with whether or not there are potential adoptive parents. Nothing at all. Not a first thing. You score once more in the "totally missing the point" contest. But since you want to go down that path, tell me, how many children are there today in America that are waiting for parents to adopt them? How many hundreds of thousands are there that will never find a home?

Oh, I see. Once they're not infants anymore, then they're just shite out of luck. Who gives a ** about them? They're not precious kids after all. How many unwanted kids end up without a home post their "cute" years? This sort of hypocrisy is just disgusting.

Danno - Since you believe in primitive fairy tales told by primitive people that didn't know a damn thing about the age of rocks, the age of the universe/planets/galaxies/stars. Didn't know a damn thing about science (it was inventive thousands of years after the primitive cavemen invented your religion).

Physics, chemistry, calculus, biology, all sprang up within the last 400 or so years.

My point is since you believe in the cavemen stories wouldn't an aborted baby get a free ticket to Heaven? Isn't that a good thing? Just think of it as a free pass. After all, that baby could have went to hell if it became one of the top scientists in the world and was inducted into the NAS, winning Nobel Prizes in Physics (93% of the scientists in the National Academy of Sciences are atheists).

Your disingenuous outrage is noted and it's a good topic to develop in another thread but in this topic we are covering unwanted pregnancies .... not unwanted children.

By the way, I have been to Orphanages, and from what I am told and from what I observed, these kids hardly seem like a clip from Oliver Twist. In many ways they create their own family setting within the groups they live with.

They get on the school bus like everyone else, they eat in small groups and often live in small group settings, certainly no replacement for a mother and father and the ideal family.... but they are nowhere near deserving of having their life snuffed out.
