Can I pick your brain about the medical MrsP? What exact tests do they do etc?

Im hoping the price hasnt gone up, £200 last I looked!

It's really nothing to worry about, when you first go in you speak to a woman at a little window who looks at your police cert and takes your passport and photos and gives you a clipboard to fill in. I was a bit worried because it asked about drug use and I wanted to be 100% honest but I went through an... experimental patch... last year so I didn't know what to put, I ended up putting YES and then explained to the woman that it was a party phase and she laughed and annotated it to say that. Not a problem!

Then after about 20 mins they called me to a little room in the back where a lovely lady told me I needed some jabs because I'd missed a mumps and something else. Also, I accidentally called hubby my boyfriend (a habit I still worryingly have!) so we bantered about the weirdness of the situation marrying so soon and then being separated for almost a year.

After that I went into a room with a curtain, some machines and a man. He told me to get top naked behind a curtain and put on a robe thing, then I had to push my boobs against an X-ray thing and breathe in while he took a chest X-ray. Then I sat in another waiting room wearing the sexy medical robe until they called me into the last room with a stern woman who took my pressure and height and weight then made me lay on the examination bed thing and did the 'gender check' and took some blood. We chatted for a bit about my future and then she let me get dressed and I was done. Went back into the main reception and paid (£210 fee and £73 with all the jabs) and that was it - 45 mins door to door! My arms were sore for about a week after it.

Ready for my grand ol' timeline? Alrighty then!
